in the videos...the male lion look clearly bigger then the female tiger...but the female tiger sheer abbility being more agile quick and fierce...takes the lion down plenty of time...
the film wheRe the male lion and the female tiger is inside the cage...the tiger gets the best of the lion...the tigeress actually had the lion pin down but the humans interfere and pokes the tigeress on her side to get her of the male lion...those fights where rig for the lion fans...they put in a female tiger in hope for it to show the male lion is bigger and better...but the female tiger is to much for a male lion...at the end the tigress has the male lion again pinned...so the humans sprays them with water to save the lion...IN THAT FIGHT THE MALE LION LOST TO A SMALLER TIGERESS...
in the other one with the two females lion and tiger...the tiger still get the best of the female lion...the tiger seems to flee several times but its her strategy...she gets off the lion and keeps coming back viciously to attack it more and more...the lion clearly can't take the abbility of the tiger...the female lions jaw actually looks bRoken...by the onslaught of the tigress...the tigress is always in contRol of the fights...

In the Discovery Channel show, "Animal Face-Off", the lion won. They claimed that even though the tiger is heavier, the lion would win because it is more ferocious and is used to fighting more. I'd say the lion would win for those reasons.
i seen so many videos of tiger vs lion fights now...most of them aRe bia's videos of the lion winning to secure its the KING of the jungle...but those where made decades ago..in some fights the tigeress are handy capped...one tRaineR puts some eye drops or sumthing on the already smaller tigeress before sending it in the lions cage to fight the male lion...and when the lion is pinned down...the handlers interfere to save the lion...and den sends a new lion to finish the already tiRed tigeRess...its so sad...the tRueth behind those videos now...

I like all animals but the Lions would win this.
The size difference is not enough to compensate for the fighting experience of most male lions. There life is extremely brutal and more often than not.....ends at the claws and teeth of other males. They are born fighters.
One of my teachers in my school days, did first hand research on this topic and found that the tiger wins 9/10 times.
