Jim did come to his defense when the crowd started booing. But it's true, you can't blame Charles and he's got nothingto apologize for. By rules, he's the champ.

That's true but it's not his fault, for a few years now Glazkov has been maneuvered into the title picture for whatever reason, judges have been very kind to him and he just isn't that great and now they put him in with Martin. I am happy when he underdog pulls off the win when these circuses occur just like when Leapai defeated boytsov for the mandatory position.

Yup. Countless fights throughout history have ended in similar fashion. He should have started hobbling around instead of quitting and it would have been ruled differently.

I can listen to Mike talk all day.

No not his fault, but he knew he didn't hit him. Can't expect a guy to bow down and not talk it up winning a strap but stay humble, he was after he saw replay and manager tapped him on the back :-X. Rossy boxed Glazkovs ears in a much bigger underdog story. Underdog from ups and downs proven, not obscurity and winning on a 'football injury'. Do hope Martin pans out but this one has huge asterisk

Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
The bloke with the water bottle wisely gave up trying to give him a drink. He looks like he came to fight anyway. He only needs one big punch. Wilder wearing his orgy mask again.

Wilder has endless flaws and because of it he's great to watch.

I guess Wilder is literally never going to have any clue how to box :P OH well, he should be fun for a while.

Nice exchange!! They trade, Wilder felt it more

Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
Wilder might have been hurt for a while there, hard to tell because his feet are always so bad.
-
Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
3-2 for wilder i think, I think as it goes on szpilka will run out of energy and wilder will take control more and more

He hasn't had the boxing training from a kid that Klit Junior had. So when he does get sparked he can't go back to fighting tall and relying on his technique as he doesn't have remotely enough. Not good for him but we're spared potentially endless boring fights. He's going to be great to watch for as long as he lasts.

Ya just can't unsee it. His feet and placement are just afterthought, mostly leave him open and off
That hands up and back posture he does, thinking, not instinct

Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
Wilder looking tired at the end of seven!
-
Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
He looked about to catch finisher, Wilder lunches looking for it and he slips. If Wilder wasn't so bow & arrow stiff this might be over honestly

Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
That slip should have counted as a knockdown just for being so silly. I think Szpilka is just as tired as Wilder and doesn't quite have the power to pull this out, but he almost cant miss with the left and his jab is backing Wilder up.
-
Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
As soon as Wilder fights a live body he's getting knocked out. He can punch, but I don't see anything special at all. So wild and so open. Doesn't seem to learn a lesson either
-
Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
This nobody was winning this fight Wilder as a boxer is just comical i mean he can not get out of the way of a punch i not seeing longest future. That being said great ko and he showed class after nailing it as well Wilder has to work on his boxing man i mean really needs to work.
-
Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
Deontay needs to buy his mam a decent wig. Maybe spend more than $15.
-
Wilder caught the other guy trying to throw a shift at him.
-
Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
I had Szpilka well ahead at time of stoppage.
Farhood's scorecard was awful, as usual.
But Szpilka was looking tired and not as sharp in that last round.

Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
Wilder playing up the grim griever here.
Fury just shits in Wilders hat and hands it back ;D Looks the ass as norm
-
Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
Szpilka could have won this fight. He did nothing once he got inside. Wllder has TNT in that right hand but he can't punch inside. Why didn't Szpilka work Wilder hard on the inside is beyond me. Still a big win for the Champ.

Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
Classy words by Wilder.
Prior to Fury
-
Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
That was dumb, but I do think Wilder would only have the epitome of a punchers chance against Fury. REally reallly unimpressive performance imo, just the way he was getting moved by glancing shots makes you wonder what he could possibly do against a guy his size who can box.

Wilder made a fan of me with the interview

Have to admit he turned me a little also. In addition he handled Fury quite well and never let him wreck it for him.

I think he is relaxing and acting more like himself, instead of trying to be somebody he isn't. The man needs to work on his boxing, he can't keep depending on that right hand bomb.

Re: Deontay Wilder-Artur Szpilka/Martin-Glazkov - Saturday/SKY Sports/Showtime. Fact.
I think Fury needs to calm himself down a bit, we all know that he is a bit of a fucking idiot and he is unpredictable at the best of times but when he ripped his waistcoat off and was bouncing around the ring like a loon was laughable.
He won a lot of fans after the fight with Klit and people like how he plays the bad guy but that was just silly.
Wilder handled it really well, he needs to improve massively on his boxing but he has always spoke well outside of the ring.
Fury v Wilder - its a massively difficult one to call, Fury is obviously the better boxer, Wilder needs a hell of a lot of work if it goes to points Fury wins but Wilder only needs to connect with 1 of them rights and Fury is out for the count, can Fury avoid it for 12 rounds?

That is the 50million dollar question.
