Re: Tyson Fury told to avoid controversial non-boxing comments
Boo hoo!
What other sport is the aim to punch you in the head and knock you out? Everyone wants to be the best at fighting. Some dont want to be found out so dont ever participate because its the ultimate emasculation. You can lose other sports and people will pat you on the back but getting knocked spark out flat on your back will have people point and laugh at you and not many men will ever risk that feeling and you are one of them.
Re: Tyson Fury told to avoid controversial non-boxing comments
What a load of nonsense: 'Don't talk about non boxing topics or be controversial or you will be in trouble!'. That is so typical of the PC brigade which now seems to be running boxing too. If I was Fury I wouldn't put up with it. He is a man with one lifetime on this planet and he should be free to say whatever he likes if that is how he feels about something. There is something very totalitarian about the West these days and this treatment of Fury is a microcosm of that.

Yes if you watch the piece HBO have just done on him he tells them after being asked the same thing "im sorry if my opinion hurts anyone but not for saying my opinion".
At the end of the day hes a boxer and this is a boxing forum so oets judge him on his boxing shall we which to be fair he hasnt done much wrong. Hes done the impossible beating Wladimir Klitschko in Germany as easy as a hot knife through butter! Maybe some quarters feel because he hasnt faltered in his career that they need to claw at any little crumb available, no matter how tenuous!
Isnt it interesting how the Americans can pay for a TV crew to come to England to produce a nice dedicated piece on Tysons family and life and be shown on a prime spot all a ross American TV. Makes all the bitching in Britain look like jealous little englanders.

MMA you aim punches at your opponents head and try to knock them out.

Read in boxing news this week he drove back from Germany after winning the title through Scotland and had a snow fight.
Fury is quality and unique. Appreciate him while he is around, he is a special talent.
Re: Tyson Fury told to avoid controversial non-boxing comments
After all these warnings and the negative press that Fury has received, did you see yesterday's press conference.
He said that he'd "learnt his lesson and didn't mean to give offence to anyone"
"And anyone who doesn't think so must be a fucking spaz
