I doubt he cares if he wins or loses that fight as he'll make Millions and be set for life.
Joshua knows that's the biggest payday he will ever get and so does Haye and no other 2 Heavies in the division can generate that kind of money.
That fight will 100% happen and even if Joshua loses to Martin it still sells out Wembley Stadium.
Biggest money fight in the division bar none - Fact
And let's be honest here what fighter on this Forum gets the most attention?
Haye does.
What fighter gets the mosts posts per thread?
Haye does.
Who is currently the most talked about fighter on here?
Haye is.
Just look at the amount of posts the guy gets in any recent thread about him since his return ;)
Donating 10% of ticket sales to Nick Blackwell = Kind gesture/Genius marketing.
He's all over the UK newspaper sports pages every week in some way or another again because he is a master at self marketing and always has been.
You lot really need to think a bit more out of the box to see what Haye is up to ;)
Its easy to see what hes up to.
Ripping mugs off;D
Maybe. But why is he getting away with it ? And he clearly is getting away with it.
Because they are mugs.
Iv seen smashup rip in to Haye on here in the past yet now hes the best thing since sliced bread again;D

Tbf, I don't think Smashup is licking Haye's ass, I think he's just pointing out the facts. I don't think what he said can be disputed. He's not saying Haye is the next Messiah.
Anyway, you've got your own ideas on who that is haven't you?;)

Now , now Eric, let's not twist the truth. ;) I gave Hughie Fury and anyone in the rankings around him, that could be any of the below. I can't say they're all available but I'm sure one or two will be.
Fres Oquendo
Andrey Fedosov
Antonio Tarver
Johann Duhaupas
Michael Wallisch
Edmund Gerber
Malik Scott
You could also add Steve Cunningham or Bermane Stiverne for Name Value.
well from this list, Fres seems pretty tied up with his wba fake title shot so I doubt he would take it. Tarver I would assume would want to be paid pretty well, possibly beyond hayes means and failed another drug test before his draw with uss cunningham. Duhaupass is fighting helenius pretty soon. Cunningham also has a fight arranged already. Gerber and this wallisch fellow are pretty much the same as haye is already fighting, infact gerber has already lost to some journeymen. Fedesovs team seem to be pricing him out of fights right now(going by the furys comments, although who knows how reliable they are), and really how good is fedesov really? his name is getting dropped into a lot of discussions and he has a ranking but what has he actually done ?
Stiverne or Malik scott would have been nice though!

now Ross mentioned about Haye and Fury being priced out of it. well tbh, they make think they are being priced out, but its a supply and demand market. Maybe they have their pricing wrong and maybe they need to start paying a bit more.
I'm not getting at Haye too much here because his gesture towards Nick Blackwell is very admirable. he just needs to be careful he doesn't take the piss too much with his choice of opponents.
The guy is 29-0 and tbf he may be very good, but we don't know what those 29 are like.
I remember AJ's first pro fight. he fought an Italian with an 8-0 record. I thought "bit risky", but he blew him away in a couple of minutes!
hope this satisfies you.;D;)
Owe do is injured, reckon tarver would have it? And he's about 100, Scotts been beaten up by chiz
I reckon half of those names would have got the same reaction in a similar thread
And the other half are probably unrealistic anyway
-
I'm not necessarily saying they're better than what he's fighting. Tbf this guy he's fighting is 29-0 and might be really good. The problem is we don't know any of them.
My point is that the other guys are ranked or names and will move his him up the rankings and into a shot. That's what he wants doesn't he? And let's be fair, time isn't really on his side and he's never struck me as someone who will bide his time.
The guys with the rankings may well be shite or 100 years old, but they're RANKED. That says more about the governing bodies, but that is the reality.
-
Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
Tarver is a druggie who should be banned from boxing.

So is Erkan Tepper and he's still showing up in the rankings! Just shows what a joke the governing bodies are. That's what creates all these problems. Complete lack of consistent thinking.
-
Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
I hear what you are saying with the rankings, but haye is getting blasted on this thread for fighting who he is fighting not because he guy isnt ranked
Di Mori was ranked and haye was the worlds biggest cunt for fighting him, particularly after the fight

Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
I watched two rounds of this fellla against Denis Bakhtov. He won't make the 3rd round.

Of course I ripped into him after the Wlad fight because he gave a poor performance and he pissed me off.
Ive always rated Haye as he's exciting to watch and bangs people out so no I don't all of a sudden rate him/ sliced bread bullshit.
You do chat bullshit @ross and it seems to seriously anger you that Haye still gets more attention than Fury ever will.
Let it go son... you cant change this fact :)

Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
That doesnt bother me.
It does however seem to bother some that Tyson Fury beat a top ten all time great and is now the best heavyweight in the world. Something Haye never did and never will do.

For fucks sake he beat a 40 year old guy who landed 4 punches a round and beat Wlad less impressive than all the people who had beat him before . You can only beat what's in front of you but fuck me put it in perspective.
Fury is now the man to beat ,but he will prove his worth in his next few fights.
Accept fury was the man to get Wlad at the Right time , let's see how he goes from here , Wlad needs to walk away.

@ross this is nothing personal but your doing it again ;D Fury will be "The best Heavyweight in the World" once he beats the other belt holders and holds all the belts himself.
Until then all he's done is beat Wladimir Klitschko and that's all he's done.
Stop making stupid fucking statements

The other belt holders? You are joking right?
There is only one other belt holder and before Tyson proved himself to be the best you all thought Wlad was the best and wipes the floor with Tyson and Wilder. Now Tyson has won you want to change your opinion.
The IBF gave their title away in petulance, untill anyone who holds it beats the real champ Tyson they are not really anything and thats not happening.

@ross - there's 2 other belt holders and while we're at it i did say Wlad would KO him early but infact bet on Fury to win at the last minute ;D
I like Fury i really do but your fucking beyond obsessed with the guy and it makes you post un logically ;D
I do at times wonder if you are a member of Team Fury or just an avid Tarmac layer who goes to and from work on a Horse and Trap in a Slazenger Tracksuit ;D
-
Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
It will be good for AJ to win the title and Fury beating him to get what is rightfully his. Whilst he is at it, I am sure he will meet Haye and beat him too.

Some of the time you make decent points but as has been said your infatuation with Fury gets in the way of your logic, you talk as if it is literally you and Fury against the world, I also backed Fury and had arguments on people before the fight about how I thought he was going to win, you wasn't the only person in the world who backed the Gyspy King, I like Fury I think it is amazing how much he has improved since the days of punching himself in the face but even I can see that he has some flaws and to rate him as highly as you do is quite frankly bamboozling
I think that whilst Denilson purposely winds people up with his casual racism you wind people up with this casual love affair with Tyson

No reference of a bet with you , also I'm so popular I could never go away , secondly wlad is shot and fury still couldn't even do what the guys who had beat wlad in the past could do .
and I'm pretty sure you are the biggest twat here if you actually read the responses to your posts it confirms that.
Fury has prove he is a good champion not a flash in the pan.
I also would never call you a twat ross , as twats have a use.

Not much talk about this fight, thought id revive this as its this coming weekend alng with Briggs supposedly. I dont think Briggs will be fighting anyone as good as Dimitrenko.

I like Haye, but do you honestly believe that if he fights Fury, AJ , Wilder or anyone near that level , it will be on Dave?
Now as long as he hasn't forgotten his commitment to Nick Blackwell, that's what I'll be giving him respect for.
-
Exactly, don't be fooled into thinking he is "bringing free boxing back to the fans"
It is purely because no one else will touch him, as soon as he gets in with a decent fighter it'll swap channels, it wouldn't surprise me if haye v Briggs was picked up by boxnation or someone like that

The cobra is 18/1...
Might be worth a punt.

Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
The Cobra will need a chin like Froch to get past the six minute mark. Slow as molasses and look where he holds his left hand. He'll never see the right hand coming

Might only need some e to throw punches at Haye. Hes not had to move his head for a loooong time!

Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
Wonder how much THe Cobras getting for the fight. It must be the dream for these guys. Build up a rec against puddings and get life changing money in a fight they know they cant win. Liek Breazeale and Martin.
-
Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
It won't be life changing money but it will be a big career high payday for these guys. The reason Haye is picking these no-names is because he's the promoter so is binning all the dosh. That's why he never has decent undercards either.
-
Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
it's probably life changing money for wherever he comes from. Probably get himself a house , etc.
-
Re: David Haye-Arnold 'The Cobra' Gjergjaj - May 21/London 02
Its a shame Haye never wants to test himself and fight the very best, or take anything like a risk in his career as he is (was) actually a very good fighter.
Athleticism, speed, explosive power and good technical boxing skills. He also, deep down, has a fighters heart.
I've always be frustrated with him, as I could see that latent talent, and then had to watch as he pulled out of fights, avoided anybody dangerous, picked joke opponents, turned into a media whore and disrespected the sport that gave him his living.
-

BoxRec - Jakov Gospic
Rumours are that this pudding is facing Briggs on Saturday. Joke. Why even bother.

If I can see this, why can't the authorities? Trust me, one day this will blow up and someone will get locked up.

David Haye's new-look physique may undermine his speed, says Lennox Lewis
Lennox Lewis has questioned David Haye's new-look physique, believing his bigger build risks undermining the speed that was his greatest strength.
On Saturday Haye faces Arnold Gjergjaj at London's O2 Arena, the second fight of a comeback that began in January with a first-round stoppage of Mark de Mori for which he weighed 16st 3lbs 5oz - the heaviest of his career.
Despite still looking lean and athletic, Haye explained that his increased muscle bulk owed to his desire to prevent a recurrence of the career-threatening shoulder injury he suffered in 2013.

Haye has always been over rated. His speed meant nothing against Klitschko. Hes had his shot and is now shot. I wont be suprised if he struggles this weekend. Hes banking on an early KO. He may well get it but if this Arnold can get past the first few rounds Haye is going to be in trouble.

Here we go again, Ross shitting on Haye or AJ In fight week, then if he loses or struggles , he says "told you so", but if he bangs him out early it's "another fucking stiff, the opponent was shit and Haye's shit!"

Im not the only one who thinks both Haye and Joshuas opponents are shit!
They are shit!
Hughie Furys last opponent beat Joshuas next!
This cobra is another De Mori, hes fought no one and any recognisable names he hasnt looked great against either.
You sound like you have been mugged by the marketing ratyer than understanding what is really going on.
