A little harsh

He is a decent fighter and has given us a handful of good exciting fights over the years

He was probably matched too hard too early, with the haye and vitali fights in particular, both with less than 20 fights as far as I can remember

If he can get a couple more decent payouts then good on him

come on Eric. we've been here before mate. against Helenius, he lost. Maybe he should've got the nod, but his record says he never. against Malik Scott , he lost just about every round , put the guy down late on and Scott , like a twat mistimed getting up. he wasn't even hurt , he could've got up a 5 or 6.
anyway, being consistent, I'll give you Scott, but a.) these fights were a million years ago and b.) what have either of those 2 done since to prove they're any good anyway?

he beat scott, yes scott was outboxing him but he still won


and I have to say, aside from sven ottke robin reid, I think chisora helenius is the worst decision ive ever seen, I thought Chiz won 11 of the 12 rounds


thing is tho, he has been in good fights, Haye, Vitali, helenius were good fights, I also enjoyed the sexton fight


a lot of fighters never have a fight anywhere near as entertaining as any of those

well fair enough, each to their own. I just think he's living off his past, which quality wise wasn't all that. He's done nothing in the last couple of years and his 2nd fight with Fury was pathetic, even to the extent that his Trainer and Promoter virtually begged him to retire and washed their hands of him.

Joshua fighting Molina makes Dumb and Dumbers fight far more appealing.

Even though these two big mouth dummies are plodders i'm interested in watching them clump each other.

This is a more even fight than I would've thought a while back. Whyte has looked quite tepid in his last two fights, and that was against guys who basically brought no pressure.

Whyte will be a lot better and should beat Chisora. This is an eliminator for the WBC.

Sure he should win, but I could see him struggling a lot with the pace if Chisora can still bring it. If Whyte isn't better and Chisora has a good night, a small upset wouldn't surprise me really.

Whyte should not only win he should stop Chisora anything less should be seen as a step backwards....a UD with a few knockdowns is acceptable but in order to get an A+ Dillan Whyte has to blast Chisora out. He shouldn't attempt to do that early because I think Del Boy can hang for 4 rounds (pressure fighters around his age can handle that) but Whyte needs to step on the gas hard around the Round 6 mark and the fight should be over by the 8th.

Whyte will need to win the early rounds, but pace himself as he wins those rounds.

Genuine grudge match this one and could easily be the fight of the night, they had to stop filming the "Gloves are Off" head to head after about 20 mins the other night as it nearly kicked off between them.

That charade is getting pretty damn boring from Chisora, just be a pro ffs. It's one thing if you haven't lost every big fight you've been in, at this point guys have more reason to worry about the pre fight stuff than being in the ring with him:rolleyes: Still think it could be a pretty even fight that said, Whyte isn't as good as most of the guys to beat Chis imo, and he'll fade if he isn't able to hurt him and keep the fight at a slowish pace.

It makes me laugh, these 2 have got a bit of beef with each other, fine , but why does that mean it's going to be fight of the night or a barnstormer? They're still 2 fucking plodders , a bit of pushing and shoving won't change that. It could end up being nothing more than 2 guys blowing out of their asses in a glorified street fight.
After the Joshua fight, I would've made Whyte a cast iron favourite in this, but since then he's gone backwards. And to be fair, if he can't beat Chisora , he may as well hang them up.
The only positive I've got on this fight is that at least these 2 British fringe fighters are actually stepping in the ring with each other, and for one of them, it's over after this.
Not like Hughie, Haye and Price, who are hell bent on talking themselves into a big pay day or a title shot.

Whyte will end Chisora's career. Whyte can become a lynchpin in the heavyweight division
