Oh don't get me wrong I know it has no bearing on the fight, just saying he looked completely different and against a much weaker opponent you wouldn't have guessed it was him who fought AJ.
Benn looked a lot better this time, standing back and measuring his punches and taking his time, actually boxing.
Dude looks in bad shape
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Even though it was setup for what it was at least Benn didn't fight like he was in a pub carpark
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Well good finish but don't know what you can take from fighting that kind of opponent.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
I said it before and I'll say it again, I've got no problem with him fighting that level of opponent at this point of his career, I DO have a problem with him being on PPV at this stage of his career.
Shouldn't even be on telly at the moment

Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
I think Eubank Jr will win within 6, however, he doesn't bang as hard as made out and Doran hits harder than his record suggests.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Doran countering the uppercuts despite what the muppets are saying
-
Not many rounds left in this one me thinks
-
To easy for jr
Time to step up
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Ugh Eubank is just a prick showboaitng against a clearly overmatched opponent who nobody gave the other dude a chance ...will enjoy seeing golo systemically pick him apart
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Bring on Golovkin (as if)
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
I am watching the football, tell me when a good fight is on.
Groves will batter Murray.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Couldn't bring myself to pay for this one, especially as I was going to be watching the football until well into the undercard. Lots of names but not many fights.
Main one is Murray v Groves, and I'm hoping Murray schools him. Groves has spent too much time around DeGale and has become a bit of a dick himself.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Just got in, sounds like I haven't missed to much? Saw an add for some outfit offering 10/1 odds on a first round KO for AJ. If I were able to bet on boxing I'd have taken a stab at that, extremely likely to happen methinks.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
If they were offerung 10/1 rd 1 they woyldn;t let you have more than a fiver on.
Come on Murray!
-
Groves to win purely for coming in to red right hand by nick cave
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Groves coming in to the PeakY Blinders theme. Respect

Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Martins corner has to explain to him that the story of Pep winning a round w/o throwing a punch is a myth.
Come on Martin, you called the guy a quitter so get busy.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
First real signs of life from Murray, Groves already looking kind of bothered.

I think he heard you
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Turning into a decent scrap now. Murray has stopped waiting for Groves to make mistakes and is now doing his own work.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Martin let the guy out of the bag. Shame that it is starting to look like the ref is a Nanny. Groves is starting to take advantage of that when the distance is closed.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Groves up 5-1 or so...Murray basically has given the fight away and pretty much will need to win all the rounds, or kds/ko

Agreed I hate clinching as do most but way to quick on the break here
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Murray seems very much done, his corner should keep a close eye on him as we know he's got no quit in him
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Told you it would be easy for Groves.
Smith would beat Groves though.
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Excellent fight and Murray gave it a right go near the end.

I would not call that easy. Groves is clearly the better boxer and with genuine pop too but Murray is incredibly durable and does not fold for anyone. Just mentally Murray seems not to be able to let his hands go early and when he does seems to struggle to make an impact. Smith might well beat Groves but I don't think that will happen for a bit. Bit of Family revenge etc would be a great fight.

Yup. That has seemed to dog him his entire career.

Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Showtime does it again. Instead of showing quality Martin v Murray ??? they air Thurman-Porter piece and Wilder in studio talking about getting cramps :cwm13:
Eubank looked good calling for Golovkin. Don't see that as a gimme for Golovkin
-
Re: Sticky: Joshua v Breazeale
Lol at David Hilarious errr I mean Haye.
