Ive backed this fight to go the distance and Alvarez on points. Alvarez wont have as big a size advantage as he usually does and I really question his punching power against men who are the same size as him. I think Smith has a far better chance of beating Alvarez than Brook did of beating GGG but the odds dont reflect that. I fear Smith needs a KO though with judges unlikely to like his work :D

Looks like both made weight. Not a very interesting fight but I will stream it and watch it while I watch football (American football to you non Americans). Smith isn't known as a big puncher and Canelo has a solid chin so I'm guessing there will be no knockout. And if that's the case, he won't lose on the cards.
I think the scale was rigged via remote detonator, it subtracted 10 pounds from Canelos actual weight. He'll probably enter the ring 200 pounds and be allowed to use flying knees.
I hope smith can pull this off I fucking hate Canelo and that faggot Oscar but I just don't see it unless he gets the ko don't see Canelo losing on points again ever

Not often you see a graduated journeyman get as much pop and visibility for a ppv as Rosado. Look, I totally respect his approach and pack a lunch mentality but he's all I'm seeing in some lead up ;D. Guy is just two corn dogs and the zippers over his eye reopening away from a wwe promo. Canelo gets the trinket he may actually be in for a bigger division than he may want.
Smith will dent Canelo more than anyone else he has faced yet.

Hope i'm wrong but Smith doesn't look quick enough to me to stop Canelo teeing off to the body and multi punch combinations. Not sure just how strong Smiths resilance is but I'd say a Canelo stoppage in 4-8 rounds - again I hope it's a Smith stoppage because he aint winning on points in Texas
Just watching Beefy on BoxNation now, the closer the fight is coming the more worried I'm getting, I really fancied Smith to put a bit of a show on and make it a tough fight for ginger pubes, watching now though I can't help but notice that he gets tagged an awful lot, fair enough he is fighting bums who can't hurt him so he may not be too concerned and he may do better at staying out of Canelo's way.
I also have a feeling that he may freeze, similar to Frampton when he took his first fight over the pond, I fucking hope not, I'm just getting these niggling doubts that Ginger Pubes will get an easier night than I was originally expecting.
