but @Master wasn't chewing because he was saying the same as you. pointless piss take in my book . ;)
I agree with @Primo Carnera that theres no point in taking the piss unless its a worthy piss take
and I agree with @Master not to believe anything or anyone anywhere or any time
and I agree with @Batman on everything apart from @Primo Carnera having brains
This Eubank lark just gets more and more nuts. He's fucked Eddie and Frank off, done a deal with top exposure channel ITV, which will get young Eubank millions of viewers, yet not only sold them a PPV is attempting to sell it against a complete and utter nobody. Brilliant.
If it's true the undercard is free (which is good) it's even more brilliant.
Stop arguing you pricks, it's boring :)
OK so im not sure what made me literally piss myself more......
Google search for "Poxon Sports" website.... ;D https://www.yorkshirecompanies.com/u...sports-limited
OR the image of Eubank Snr in the background of the "Reborn" fight poster ;D
Seriously though IF the venue tickets do sell out and it does OK (ish) PPV wise and Jnr puts on a brutal clinic then he's landed on his feet big time with ITV.
The more i see/hear of Jnr im becoming more and more convinced you'd have to kill the cunt to KO/TKO him.
Thing is he's 28 odd now and at his peak physically surely and remember he's a pressure fighter, relentless with mad stamina and same as Hatton you can only fight at 100% with that style for so long (Young mans game) so he needs to stop fucking about win this in style and crack on to the big time.
Call me crazy but i got a gut feeling Eubank Jnr could be something really special if his chin is like his old mans as he claims and im seriously looking forward to seeing if he has more one punch power at SMW and can put people away with 1 punch.
The kids at a total crossroads in his career right now and theres more chance of a mouse fucking an elephant doggy style than his dad taking a back seat and letting him crack on with his own career like Nigel Benn is with his boy.
Bottom line is you just can't help watching the pair of cunts journey ;D

looks like eubank jr is headed towards fighting de gale later this year, that would be pretty cool... if he beats quinlan of course :S
Andrew Selby v Ardin Diale added to what isn't such a bad card after all, still no way a PPV line up.
Andrew Selby v Ardin Diale added to Quinlan v Eubank Jr. on ITV | World Boxing News
chris eubank jr i takes risks no one else does
When the GGG fight was being negotiated the only thing I saw Jr dropping was the phone as he ran out the door.Quote:
IT was a controversial move on Chris Eubank Jr’s part to take a low key fight against little known Renold Quinlan and put it on ITV Box Office, a new pay-per-view platform.
But he told ITV what he believes sets him apart from other boxers. “I take risks because no one else does and that’s what people want to see. They want to see a guy who’s willing to put it all on the line. To stand in front of a man and drop his hands and look at him and say, ‘What are you going to do?’ That’s not orthodox. That’s not what you’re taught. When you go into a gym and you’re learning how to box it’s protect yourself at all times. Hands up,” he said. “For a fighter like me to do the things I do. To keep my hands low, to tell a man come on let’s go, let’s see what you’ve got, and let him throw a couple of punches and see if he can get me, people don’t do that.
“I enjoy that. I’ve always enjoyed a challenge. I want to see if this man is fast enough to hit me, I want to see if he can connect.”
“It’s a mental thing too,” he added. “That can break a guy.”
What a fool this bloke is, put me in the ring with a demented midget and I'd drop my hands and let him throw a couple of punches as well.
Is anyone on here actually paying for the fight?
I have not seen any itv advert for this on TV yet. Have I missed it?
I've got a theory about what's happening here. I reckon Team Eubank and ITV have struck a deal here where he's on a low purse with a big cut of the PPV takings. Eubank Sr. has gone on about what a PPV star his boy is, so ITV have said "Fine , if he is that big a draw, take the risk and have the thick end of the PPV wedge."
Therefore ITV's risk is minimal. So what they have then done is put together a pretty decent undercard which they are showing free to air on ITV4. The Eubank thing has garnered interest, but people won't pay for that , but watch the ITV4 part.
ITV wouldn't need to sell it that much because they don't give a fuck what happens about the PPV element. They'll ride on the back of the Eubank train and get the exposure and then get a decent audience for the undercard , gently introducing themselves back into the mix.
as for the lack of advertising, that's down to this Poxon Promotions and "Motion in Unity" , whoever they are. Eubank Sr. has probably got these guys on the cheap, and the old "pay peanuts, get monkeys" syndrome kicks in .
nothing else makes sense to me, and if this is the case , it's a ridiculously big gamble by Sr. which will definitely backfire.
I think it's your right too Primo. The card is excellent quality especially for a free to watch show!
David Price? On his own or against a bum? Boring but he's in a pretty good match up with a decent fighter who could beat him here.
I think the Eubanks main intention is getting their own platform. I don't think e future of it is going to be dependant on how successful the buys are for this show. It's a pretty low risk opponent although heavier. This is to get the platform up and running. Potentially this could be a bigger earner than sky could be. ITV can advertise to everyone whereas sky only advertise to sky customers. A lower price on the pay per view and a good name opponent or a similar level match ups on an undercard included next time and most boxing fans will pay when you think some of the shit they pay sky for!
As I said before (and I could be wrong) the benefit that Sky have is that they advertise one PPV across 50 channels, I don't think ITV ever advertise on Sky channels do they, so would they be advertising to a larger audience than Sky do?
I mean what percentage of the UK watch channels that Sky provide? I'm pretty sure that even a large portion of the freeview channels promote Sky don't they?
again I could be wrong as I don't watch all that much TV
have there even been any adverts for this thing yet ??
No not seen one, not seen anything at all on social media either.
You can't even book it until 20th Jan (tomorrow)

Ignoring the PPV bollocks and what not, Jr is still diving further and further away from world-class. The old man seems more intent on seeing an exhibition/show than his son learning/improving.
Jr is clearly talented but, for the level he's competed at and what he's actually achieved, arguably the most overrated fighter in boxing. He's faced one world-class fighter and got beat. That's it.
Also he's getting on for 28 years old now so arguably at his physical peak right now or very soon, I mean Calzaghe had a similar punch output but didn't put full power into nearly every punch he threw.
How long can the kid realistically keep on fighting with his full on pressure style throwing massive punches non stop, once that starts to fade is he really gonna be much of a fighter at all?
He needs to fuck his dad off NOW and go cap in hand to either Warren or Hearn and seriously kick start his career.
Still very interested to see what power he does or doesn't have at SMW ;)
Eubank Jr's power is definitely the most overrated thing about him. Yes, he clearly has a solid dig, but look at the level he's at, never chinned anyone without throwing the absolute kitchen sink at them.
ITV4 have live boxing tonight (8-11pm) - young prospects-vs-cab drivers/bog cleaners - headlined by Robbie Davies Jr.
Expect plenty of Eubank PPV plugging.
The Ronald Mcintosh commentating tonight on ITV4 is very good!
What an excellent fight that was!
Now they are hyping Eubank Jnr
Robbie Davies wins with a body shot. Good fight.
Any update on the PPV? Fights still free on ITV 4 til the Eubank fight?
Under card is actually pretty stacked considering what I thought it would be.
Last I heard the undercard was on ITV PPV as well

It's a nice/good Saturday night card that unfortunately becomes a pony/joke being PPV. ITV4 - in selling the "world champion" Quinlan - made his win over Geale to be on a par with upsetting Floyd/Chocolatito/Golovkin.
AS for the boxing the other night - the foreign journeyman kid in the main event (17th fight in under 12 months) had some serious slippery movement/skills, came to win and held his own before predictably tiring and getting chopped in half.
ITV Box Office confirm Andre Ward as Quinlan v Eubank Jr. analyst | World Boxing News
i think its a joke it's PPV. But the fights on the undercard aren't too bad! I wouldn't pay for it. I'll be in work anyway but i think all the fighters are in good fights. I have no idea who Eubank Jnr is fighting, but Jnr seems pretty relentless in his training videos. He's a quality fighter no doubt but it's doing my head in with his dad having such an involvement. But it is what it is, I'll still watch him fight but he needs to just not talk as much and fight!!
i thought ryder and etches were with matchroom?
I like that fight by the way
and I think the eubank fight is interesting, not sure why people are thinking it is moving away from world class
I think its a step up again
who do you want him to fight? (apart from the obvious)
I want him to fight the obvious not the obscure at a higher weight.
If you're not rated in the top 10 by one of the respected independent sources - Ring, BM, ESPN, etc - you're not world-class (doesn't mean you don't have the potential).
If you're not rated in the top 15 by ANY of the top four micky mouse alphabets - WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF - you sure as fuck ain't world-class, because no-one has ever heard of you.
That's ignoring the fact the geezer's had 12 fights and never left Oz.
Etches is with Poxon (the promoter/matchmaker for this show). Good domestic fight.
never left Oz doesn't really matter, most of the fighters in the top 10 in the UK at all weights have never left England
Who do you want him to fight? Saunders, GGG, Canelo, Jacobs? any of those realistic?
I think its a wise move all in all and a half decent test up in weight
Yah he obviously has a bit of power too this Quinlan. He wiped out Geale.
@ross ...... he hardly hit him then pushed him over ;D
The strength in depth in Britain is much stronger than Australia.
Yeah that would be nice or even anyone "world-class" or at the very least world known -
Lemieux
Stevens
Monroe Jr
Lee
N'Dam
Sulecki
Quillin
Murata
Khurtsidze
And the exact same goes for supermiddle. There are dozens of fighters higher rated/more known than this obscure novice Aussie.
