Come on now, don't fall for the hype again eh...
Anyone who writes off Wlad after all he's done is a fool!
But at the same time, I think Joshua brings things to the table that Wlad hasn't seen in recent times. Allied to having been out of the ring for as long as he has at his age, it doesn't paint a pretty picture for Wlad.
I wouldn't write him off though!
@ross, would you say that if Wlad beats AJ, it proves that the Fury fight was a freak one-off result and that Wlad must've had problems leading up to it?
Errr, no... What that would do is prove what I and others have been saying, that Joshua is hyped and too many fans swallow it. Klitschko could have a career best defining performance beating Joshua but would be similar to Thompson beating Price for me. Tyson would beat him just as easy again.
Ok, now I seek it.
AJ Wins - Wlad was finished. Fury finished him off with his 7 punches a round.
AJ ko's him round 1 - Lucky punch!
Wlad wins - Fury beat Wlad so Fury is the greatest HW ever to walk this
earth.
Fight abandoned due to terrorist attack - they wouldn't dare do that if Fury was fighting!
Fair play, what with this and Haye supposedly not injured and putting it on, you've made yourself look a proper cunt these last few days!
put your handbag down and listen to the facts.
Tyson beat a Wlad that had one of the most impressive runs at heavyweight ever. He was coming off some of his best wins. He was active and fighting on his own show in his own back yard.
Now compare that against the fighter that will still beat Joshua who is coming off a loss, 18 months of inactivity, his longest period of not fighting. Wlad is also fighting in Joshua's back yard and is now in his forties. Basically Wlad is being served up well done to Joshua. Or at least Hearn is hoping he is;)
This is the one thing I like about Hearn. He doesn't really care about the longevity of his fighters like Warren does, he wants the money as soon as he can get it. While Tyson is being fucked around by the petty BBBOC Joshua's second biggest fight option is against the Kings left overs. Joshua could be left floundering like Price against Thompson but Hearn got his investment back and he still has plenty of options as opponents that naive British fans will swallow to build him back up when he loses like Whyte, Chisora, Haye, Bellew etc etc.
So, the first 2 paragraphs you've basically said it exactly like I posted you would.
Now the last paragraph, you're getting really wacky. You like that Hearn doesn't care about the longevity of his fighters (in your opinion). And poor little Tysy Whysy being fucked about by those horrible people at the BBBOC. :nopity: I mean, what did he do wrong ? A few lines of coke? Maybe some PEDs?
Poor little victimised Tyson. And if he wants to fight in May , he'll fight in May NO MATTER WHAT ANYBODY SAYS!!! Of course they're gonna piss him about when he chats so much shit . And the funniest thing of all, Mugs like you taken in by his every word. "The King is back, Long live the King!"
Btw, I don't think Eddie Hearn needs financial and business advice from you, he's probably got things covered.
You can't read very well if you think that's anything like the same! I posted facts.
All you need to do is sit and wait and watch the whole thing play out like maybe you all should have done for Fury v Klitschko and you would t have all looked so fucking stupid after.
Yep, we'll sit and watch and then we'll come back to these posts to see if it mirrors your post fight comments.
Feel free to ignore the bits you haven't got answers to , like the BBBOC Victimisation etc.

Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
Tyson doesn't really have anyone else to blame but himself at this stage. Sure the UKAD has been ridiculously slow but Fury hasn't even contacted BBBOC yet to start the ball rolling with his license. Unless he plans to fight abroad then he's benched for the time being.
-
Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
Tyson is ready to fight in May, Tam is ready to fight in May. Both will have no trouble getting licensed by the Malta board. Its the logical fight to make.;D

Tyson can apply for an Irish boxing license.
-
Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
He's free to apply for any license he likes, The BBBOC and any affiliates will knock it back until the UKAD stuff is cleared up.

Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
Boxing is a perishable skill especially if a guy is not really hanging out in the gym. It doesn't matter what kind of weight he is at coming back, this will be glorified sparring session at best.
But it's something to look forward to and see if he can shake that ring rust off and push on from their, once he has the determination to get back into the shape he was for the Klitschko fight or better, then their is huge fights to be made.
But I don't rate Fury as highly as most. He had one good win and it's not like he schooled or destroyed Wlad.
Barely a punch was thrown and he only just scrapped over the line.
Oliver McCall. Leon Spinks. Hashim Rahman all had one good win.
-
Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
Fury clearly beat Wlad it was not close, no matter what the cards said.

Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
Tyson Fury reveals he weighs 25 STONE as former world champion claims he has beaten depression ahead of return
Tyson Fury is confident he has beaten the depression that has blighted him since his win over Wladimir Klitschko.
The former heavyweight world champion has not fought since he beat the Ukrainian in November 25.
And although he revealed he currently weighs 25 stone, Fury believes he is on track to make his ring return.
The 28-year-old tweeted earlier this week that he has pencilled in his comeback for May 13 but that depends on the result of his UK Anti-Doping hearing - and the boxing authorities reinstating his license.
Fury tweeted today: "Talk about being a fat man, I'm 25stones or 350lbs, but getting the weight off has never been a problem! Ask (trainer) Peter Fury we done it 24 times.
"I've moved on from the dark & scary place I've been living & if I can beat depression then I can beat anything! The hardest fight of my life!
"I'm starting a fresh start, letting go of the past & concentrating on the future, got to keep moving forwards."
Fury was stripped of his three world titles last year when he failed a drug test after taking cocaine.
He insists he has never taken performance-enhancing drugs but faces a grilling from UKAD in early May.
His cousin Hughie Fury will challenge for one of Tyson's old belts when he takes on Joseph Parker on May 6 in Auckland.

Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
Dominic Breazeale is the ideal comeback fight for Fury :)
-
Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
I wouldnt be surprised if its a former Joshua victim, Breazeale or Molina. Breazeale picked up the decent win the other week. Charles Martin has gone full space cadet so wont be him. Either would be a good test right now given that Fury doesn't plough through people, they'd both give him a few rounds at least.
-
Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
I can see Breazeale giving Fury a very hard fight if it happened, the guys seriously durable and a big unit too, he took some serious punches from AJ and did look impressive on the Wilder card, stole the show actually.

Yeah Ustinov was calling Fury out for his May return. Would he entertain a Hammer rematch? Molina is the sort of level I think Tyson will target.

You are right, I think all non professional fighters should exit the forum immediately.
Not you though Ross we all recognise your own personal fantastic boxing career.

I remember when I knocked the drugs on the head, I never had a problem with them, I was just young, enjoyed it and didn't give a fuck, I just woke up one morning couldn't be bothered to take them any more, I stuck with the beer though, fook me, I've never shifted the weight I put on, when I was taking class A's I was as skinny as a rake and as fit as a butchers dog, these days stairs bother me.

Re: Tyson Fury - 13th May THE RETUUURRRNNNNN
Tyson Fury’s May return to boxing is looking increasingly unlikely after he was pictured looking far from fighting weight on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old, who recently claimed he had ballooned up to 25st at one point, was out supporting fellow Manchester fighter Terry Flanagan at his public workout ahead of his WBO lightweight title defence against Petr Petrov on Saturday.
However, despite being just over one month away from his target of a May 13th ring return, Fury looked far from ready.
He hasn’t boxed since in November 2015 where he produced a shock win over former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, who is readying himself for a title fight with Anthony Joshua at the end of this month.
While he current weight seems a sure sign he won’t be making his proposed comeback fight, understood to be on the undercard of Josh Warrington’s clash with Kiko Martinez, the British Boxing Board of Control had also dented his ambitions but insisted Fury’s licence was still suspended.
Fury has confessed to struggling with drug use and depression since dethroning Klitschko and remains the subject of an anti-doping investigation.
Check the picture out.

it'll be a shame if he doesn't come back and fight again
