Arroyo always comes to fight... but Ioka was just the better man tonight. :-\

Nietes back in the 5th. Palicte looked hurt.
3-2 Palicte.
Nietes big comeback round, finally working out the range
Nietes starting to find a home for his left hook. still throwing big shots, but Nietes landing the better shots.
3-3.
I must say the 6th was close, scoring is going to be a mess.
Damn, I hate jumping between cards too. :(
Let's hope the Garcia-Porter intro is long. :)
7th very close again. Nietes starting to throw his right a little more, just edged the round.
4-3 Nietes.
I liking Nietes now, looks in control, youngun looks one dimensional
Not seeing HBO but pretty surprised. Nietes sounds in deep.
Palicte more active in the 8th.
4-4.
Palicte landed a big right hand in that round. Not much from either guy.
5-4 Palicte.
10th was razor thin. Palicte throwing a lot more, but Nietes landing the better shots.
5-5.
Nietes not throwing anything in the 11th. Output winning Palicte the round.
6-5 Palicte.
i switched to the other fight, sounds like nothing has changed here, gonna be arguments regardless
Nietes fought back well in the last.
6-6 draw on my card.
116-112 Palicte, 118-110 Nietes, 114-114
Spilt draw.
Good call mate, you said the cards would be all over the shop half way through, I was expecting mental scores like that too, I actually can see how it happens
Watching on stupid Shaw hbo delay so not reading posts yet... Nice win for ioka, I think it was a close fight despite the wide scorecards which were probably right. Ioka took a fair few whacks too, it wasn't the best win of all time but he's moved up and been out for a while... The japs are a bunch of sad masochist weirdos it seems, they really don't seem to mind getting hit to land something :S.... Fun to watch but bad for their health... Good work ioka. Hopefully more of the japs come over to the western timezone or hbo can work out some deal to show fights in Japan(that would be cool). I don't ioka is going to become undisputed champ at this weight going by that fight, for example I think sor rungvisai Kos pretty handily.
Got carried away with the Porter/ Garcia fight.
118-110, 117-111, 117-111
UD Estrada.
Those cards were terrible, should have been about 115-113 Estrada. Very close fight.
I think ledermann is/was tanked :S
I might be swayed by hbo but I thought nietes won that :S.. bit odd but I wasn't keeping count so I can't say for sure
I didn’t score the Nietes fight really, but I was shocked that HBO seemed to think that he won most rounds. There were a handful of rounds I definitely thought that Palicte won. The one scorecard for Palicte seemed pretty ridiculous though.
I thought that Estrada won pretty wide even though the rounds were close. I thought that Estrada just did more most of the rounds to win. I had no problem with the scorecards.
Very impressed by how Ioka looked given the circumstances.
Not sure how there was any talk of a robbery in the Nietes fight, great decision. And I can see how the judges got to those cards... Which were understandably all over the place
Most have probably seen it by now, but I'll leave it here anyway:

Ioka is in the mix big time now.
Apparently the talk now is for Ioka vs Nietes later this year....

...take my money!
Easy win for Ioka.
Ioka vs Nietes.
A very good, close fight to end the year. I had it 115-114 Ioka.
118-110 Nietes, 116-112 Ioka, 116-112 Nietes
SD Nietes
Another terrible 118-110 card tho.
