Re: Fury signs with Warren Boxnation/BT Sport
Wladimir Klitschko claims David Haye would have knocked out Tyson Fury and the Ukrainian boxer also believes Anthony Joshua would beat Fury now.

I disagree Fury would be too big for Haye as Wlad was for Haye.

I hate to disagree with you, my friend..... but if this happened

imagine what a harder hitting Haye would do.

Re: Fury signs with Warren Boxnation/BT Sport
I think that improved Fury, a bit like Ali when he got knocked down early in his career, Fury was better defensively after that knock down.
I also think Wlad is saying that to make out that he is better than Fury.

If that's Wlad motivation I don't blame him. ;D
Better to be worse than AJ than worse than Fury.

Ok, so you think Fury would’ve beat Haye at the time. Ok, are you also saying Fury is “better” than Wlad?
I know Fury beat Wlad, but........

Wlad has a better legacy but stylistically could always lose to Fury.

Re: Fury signs with Warren Boxnation/BT Sport
I really hated haye at the time but to be fair to the annoying git (he is still really annoying) he had some really great attrbutes, he was extremely evasive and could really get a lot of power on his punches, he would certainly have a good chance of putting fury to sleep.prime v prime of course as I think haye looked horrible (before his ligaments buggered up) v bellew... fury fights way smarter than people give him credit for, I put that down to Peter fury (I think he is a very smart man), and really learned to use his height and reach very well and fury is great at roughing people up. I'd give fury the slight advantage over haye but haye would have had a great chance to ko him...I am talking haye in his prime of course, as I think now a lot of guys wold beat haye.
Haye also wasn't that small of a heavyweigh, six foot 3 and could be around 220 lbs, Wilders weighs around the same.
Also interesting to see the reaction to fury coming back after accepting a two year back dated ban for steroids compared to how people react to povetkin and alvarez. :S

I think you’re basing that on one person having the worst night of his life against another having the ONE and ONLY Decent night of his life. 4 punches per round v 7 punches per round.
I’m curious , how do you rate Buster Douglas? Did he have Tyson’s number every day of the week?

Prime Tyson that beat Berbick et al beats Buster who will put up a good fight but get stopped.

So Tyson is given a pass for a bad performance , but Wlad no?

Re: Fury signs with Warren Boxnation/BT Sport
It'll never happen..... but I would be willing to bet that the Wlad that fought AJ would absolutely sweep the floor with Fury. Wlad's loss to Fury is more of a crappy performance by Wlad than a good one by Fury.

Tyson Fury v Kevin Johnson or John Rawlings PPV.
If he took them both on at the same time it’d be worth it.

Negative. I was just fucking with Master really. BT are launching a PPV channel and I've read whispers that Fury V TBA will be on it. I've also heard that it will be a two tiered price plan (29.99 for the full card or 19.99 just for the main event). This is all Twitter talk of course. I doubt his comeback is PPV but Fwank will be getting him on it as soon as he can.

Ive heard this is on BT PPV too! Frank Warren is losing it, how the fuck does he think this card is PPV worthy. Hopefully Hearn puts on a decent normal sky card and Warrens is a big flop!

Just heard a rumour the opponent is this beast - Sefer Seferi
Albanian number 2 Cruiserweight. I take everything back about this not being PPV worthy

I've got no problem with BT PPV providing the Box Nation customers don't have to pay extra for it, that would be a massive piss take

Of course they'll have to pay extra. No different to subscribing to Sky and paying for PPV. And yes, of course it's a massive piss take!

Yeah, that was good. And on the strength of that, I mean getting put down by a man 60lbs lighter and then leaning on this lighter guy for 3 or 4 rounds until the lighter guy was fucked and then knock him out. On the strength of that , he’s gonna blow away the best of the HW division? hmmmm

Re: Fury signs with Warren Boxnation/BT Sport
Another absolutely pointless press conference from Warren earlier today, all he did was assemble his fighters, give them all some time on the mic and tell us all stuff we already know.
Still no announcement on Tyson Furys opponent but the rumour is it's against a Cruiserweight?

Re: Fury signs with Warren Boxnation/BT Sport
Cute bit of PR work from Warren this morning getting Fury on national Breakfast TV (Warren and Piers Morgan have been mates for years and are Big Arsenal fans so i reckon Warrens asked him for a favour here) ;)
Nice bit of Marketing
