Nah I could have seen the same score to Charlo, it was a close fight.
Believe what you will but that was not a close fight. At all. Harrison fought cheap and way too conservatively, damn near scared early on. Some good combos and a big right hand in the 5th but these judges need ski masks and a get away car. And court ordered rehab!

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Hurd just watched a huge payday go up in smoke. That's what you get for marinating ;D

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Well. Shit. Guess I should have stuck with the upset pick after all :-X. Here's Jermall..better knock him out twice son.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
The Charlo's getting exposed.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Not sure what these announcers are talking about. Korobov speaks and understands English.
Korobov looks almost as good as he looked against Lee before getting caught. Either way we are finally getting the answers about the Charlo’s we’ve been begging for. Talented as they may be they are not such great fighters.
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
This is like needing to still sit through dinner after the appetizers give you the shits. One I'll call a robbery. Anyway..Korobov doing some nice little step arounds staying close. Not bothering to score just gonna play Fish to see who gets it.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
The last fight was pretty close, this one Charlo is definitely losing. It is a bit unfair to have him fight 2 consecutive fights on the same evening.
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Looks like Charlo has gotten into this fight
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
I have this 6-0 Korobov.
Hype is a funny thing.
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Pity Korobov is past it. A prime version ends Jermall.

So is facing decent comp who come to make competitive fights. This is what we all hope for after all. At least a case can be made in this one thus far.

This is what happens with too much facing soft opposition, Korobov took the fight on 6 days notice. This was supposed to be a showcase.

Doesn't make a guy 'hype' or ready to be ended ffs. It's not the first time we've seen this movie blow up in a showcase, nature of the beast. Said since he came in that beating a Heiland who owned 1 foot did him no favors.

No but it does make people say stuff like "GGG is ducking".

If Charlo stops him will he get a decision on Alpha’s card?

Thats just the other end of the extreme isn't it though. Consider the source with some nonsense..oh shit Korobov on roller skates! Scrappy final round right there.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
I have it 117-111 Korobov.
Lots of close rounds tho.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Ok 119-108....I don't care what your name is. That was pre ordered.
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Charlo is not very good. Easy fight for GGG IMO.
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
119 110 ??? right guy won probably but wtf
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
119-108, 116-112, 116-112
UD Charlo
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Korobov fought well considering his age and being in a Fury type situation with a long lay off and quick tune up, but Charlo is so easy to tag. Gets hit again and again.

Many of those rounds were close. Korobov was just too rusty. Right man edged it, but I see a loss for Charlo if he steps up. Way too flawed.

Plenty of hype in this sport. If we're writing 9 yr pros and multi division champs off as total hype jobs it's time to move on to professional badminton.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Both Charlo’s were exposed but both clearly won.

I never said anyone was a total hype job, I said it's a funny thing, in regards to those claiming GGG was ducking Charlo.

Logic, you are all hyperbole. I use direct quotes. You put words in people’s mouths to make them wrong. Signing a petition to avoid is by definition avoiding. It’s a fact, it is not debatable but yet you deny it. There is no logic there.
You can say he has reasons and that’s fine. But that’s not what you do. You outright claimed it wasn’t avoiding. It is avoiding.
So go ahead now and make up my words.
Edit-and yes, I will leave because I have to be up for work in 5 hours. Not because I think you will make any point. Because signing a petition to avoid is avoiding whether you like it or not. What you like doesn’t make something the truth

Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Funny d situation though.. golovkin (well more like abel danchez), has made a rod for his own back with the clear attempted dodging of charlo... charlo doesn't look that good here. . So if there's a big change in the golovkin sails here he's going to look like a bit of a nob. Funny to watch though... I'd pick golovkin to beat him and I don't believe he's sacred of anyone.
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Matt Korobov FOX 22nd December 2018
Korobov is not Golovkin. And vice versa. It's not a one glove fits all situation. Styles, circumstances, influences and the things you cannot see in an opponent mean more than assumed facts. I don't rake Charlo for having a tough fight here just as Golovkin shouldn't have been balked at because he didn't take Charlo on stand by notice.

GGG was going to protest that Canelo decision, that's a fact. Trying to say he was protesting it because he was trying to avoid Charlo is twisting the truth.
