Fowler was winning the 7th but hit hard near the end. Still give it to Fowler who landed the faster sharper punches.

Massive for Fowler then, that one could have just been the round to win him the fight
I've not been scoring it but its been close, Fitzgerald has looked a lot more composed all the way though but I think the first few rounds that went Fowlers way might just edge him this one on the judges cards
Fowler dominates round 9 and hurt Fitzgerald with an upper cut at the start of the round and a barrage of punches. Good fight.

Fitzgerald knocks down Fowler in the last round and may have won the fight because of it. Fitzgerald should have jumped on him and not backed off.
5-5 but with the knockdown Fitzgerald gets the win by 1 point for me.

I would have said decent looking double, however, personally I backed Smith rds 1-6 (different level to Eggarito) and Smith KO in accas with Fowler-Fitz not going distance (which obviously lost) and Price-Ali rds 1-5.Quote:
