Cordina very skillful and landed some good counter punches in the 7th round.
There was a pause and point deducted against Cordina for a low blow.
Even round
Cordina pushing Gwynne back now landing some hurtful and hard shots against Gwynne in the 8th.
7-0-1 Cordina
Both standing toe to toe in the 9th and letting their hands go.
Ref deducts a point from Gwynne for rabbit punch. Strange from the ref.
8-0-1 Cordina
Both fighters tiring and getting into clinches in the 10 the round but Cordina has good boxing skills to win the round.
Cordina doing less work but still landing quality shots against Gwynne in the 11th. This is going the distance now.
Cordina planting his feet and throwing hard punches in the last round. He has slowed down a lot and showed some limitations.
11-0-1 on my cards.
Buatsi started slow and cautious in the 1st round against Ford but opened up more in the 2nd to win both rounds.
This is not a great fight to watch. Buatsi doing the basics and fighting within him self.
3 nil
This fight is flat, no atmosphere just Buatsi pawing with his punches 4nil
Buatsi stepping in with his punches now and putting some Burton Ford.
5 nil
Buatsi messing about now and sticking his tongue out in the 6th.
The commentators are so bored they ,are talking about other things.
Buatsi out of the blue stops Ford in the 7th when he opened up. Very impressive finish but not great watch.
Charlie Edwards v Julio Ceaser Martinez on now. Edwards boxing well but Martinez is very unorthodox
1 nil Edwards
Martinez punching as a southpaw at times very unconventional but Edwards doing enough to win the 2nd round.
That was a cheap shot whilst he was already down there
Never seen anyone as awkward as Martinez who stops Edwards in the 3rd round. He hit Edwards when he was down and should be disqualified.
I hate things like this. Martinez was clearly on his way to stopping Edwards and then he hits him when he was done. There was no reason he needed to do that.
Fair play to Edwards he has took that really well in the interview
fucking hell, that's bizarre, they have reversed the decision and ruled it a NC lol
Edwards was struggling at the point that he took the knee but that bodyshot was terrible so its the right decision
That changed quickly they have declared this a no contest with the instant replay rule.
Edwards was not sure about the rematch because he said he struggled with the weight.
Are all bets void in the case of a no contest?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Edwards didn’t take the rematch and moved up in weight. I can’t imagine he wants to go through that again
At least Hughie wants to fight actual live opponents, Tyson should take note
Povetkin has not fought since he got beat by AJ?
Fury being thrown in at the deep end.
This is going to be interesting.
Fury started frantically in the 1st round and possibly won it by his jab and movement.
Povetkin trying to load up with left hooks and missing in the 2nd. Hughie using his speed and movement to win the 2nd round be too.
Fury comfortable in 3rd and outboxed Povetkin a bit easier in the 3rd
3 nil Hughie
Remember when Povetkin didn't look like a bum?
Missed the 4th round but Hughie landed a fought aggressively in the 5th to win that round.
This is the best I have seen Hughie and he has Povetkin controlled in the 6th round. Good work from Fury.
Povetkin looks tired and slow but loading up and catching Fury at times in the 7th
Povetkin landed some hard and hurtful punches against Fury in the 8th to win the round. Fury tiring.
Povetkin beating up Hughie now in the 9th and think he is cut.
Povetkin taking over the 2nd half of the fight and wins 10th. Hughie looks shattered.
Both holding a lot now in the 11th, Fury is still trying to move and jab but Povetkin landed bigger punches.
Povetkin strong in the last round.
I had Fury win first 6 but missed one round and Povetkin the next 6 so draw.
poor old Hughie
Official cards from 3 judges 117-111 for Povetkin.
Campbell wins the first round. Loma didn’t do much. Obviously not expecting that to be the norm for the rest of the fight
