Oh nice upper from Franklin early 8th now on the front foot. Whyte doing the Foreman-Bert Cooper arm bar defense, but he looks stuck in place not punching off of it. Whyte opening up late round and really digging into body, hard pressure may have just edged that round back. 4-4..these scores will (should) be all over the place if it goes distance.
On paper a meh fight but tell you what it's all ebb and flow. Both taking turns per their strengths
Whyte struggling with Franklin and can not deter him but still landing the better punches in 8th round.

Franklin hurt Whyte at the end of the 9th round with a big right hand. He feels confident.
Heavyweight body with cruiserweight hands. Nice upper and left to gut by Whyte. FFS rounds are like roller coaster ;D. Whyte sitting in and another tight wound but Whyte caps it on power and huge right near end of round. His Left to body showing well. Franklin has a beard! 5-5 even up..again
Franklin spending too much time on the ropes in the 10th and gives initiative back to Whyte.

Whyte 11th on the pop. Both feeling the pace and matching jabs but strength to Whyte. Tough tight who knows at this point ;D. Splitting hairs this round, edge to Whyte. Gritty scrap
Scrappy 11 th round both tired but Franklin busier with Whyte landing the cleaner punches.

Close fight which I give to Whyte 7-5.
:appl: have this dead even 6-6 at end but feels like Franklin made the story of the night and stepped up to another level.
really solid effort by jermaine, i completely underestimated him or dillian has slipped a ways
If they're aiming for AJ rematch they better hurry up. Whyte takes it on two cards, other even. Like to see Franklin get another big fight, can't judge a book by the cover.
