Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Next up... Barbosa vs Pedraza. I've always liked Pedraza. He's a tough customer, and always comes to fight. But I think he's plateaued. I'm sure he's being looked as stepping stone material. Should be a good fight.

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
i think arnold is just a bit better all round than jose who has also been through some wars

Really the definition of lowkey best of almost top level. But the wars have collected. Arguably Tanks biggest scalp?! Really a pleasure to watch work reminds me of Linares type.

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Like Barboza rocking off the backfoot last minute for 1st. Put stiff shots together well. Pedraza pogoing in behind no jab is unhealthy for him.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Barbosa looking pretty accurate with his jabs and counter shots. Not used to seeing Pedraza coming forward so much.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Woah slow stumble on Barboza there. Pedraza almost trying to leverage up the uppercut bouncing like that but man that's all or nothing plan. Barboza sitting on his shots.

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
2-1 Barbosa. I might have given a slight edge to Pedraza in the 2nd, but it could've gone either way.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Barboza really calm cool and collected. Pedraza pretty determined to just roll the dice coming onto Barboza. Pedraza beginning to get clipped right on the beek with that right hand.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Barbosa's super accurate. He looks like the sniper tonight. 3-1 Barbosa.
Pedraza isn't suited for 140.

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Normally I'm not a fan of switching stances... but southpaw seems to be working for Pedraza. Much closer round.

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Just waiting for Barboiza to kick it in drive forward. Pedraza jab, straight shots are pretty much nonexistent if we're honest. And his face is falling apart. Oh nice quick combo end of round for him though.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Pedraza with Hopkins like 'crafty' forearm press down to head of Barboza. On the blindside of course :-X. Like that round for Pedraza but he really needs to turn it on. Should be a 12 rounder

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Pedraza got buzzed. Probably more than once.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Barboza had him stunned early 7th. These exchanges are more frequent now and favoring him big.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Really didn't look that low but Barboza felt that body shot and worked it. Better 8th Pedraza nailed Barboza with southpaw straight left. Pedraza round Barboza looked bothered!
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Pedraza has no quit in him. He seemed to buzz Barbosa a little bit at the end of the last round. Pedraza is losing the fight handily... but making a good account of himself.

Ref shut your corn hole. That's a nip and tuck round going with Pedraza. Really has turned into a solid scrap.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
can jose crack that chin in the last?
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
gave jose the tenth. i have arnold winning by two points
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
It's over. What a freaking good fight!
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Pedraza in close clean combo early and now churning in there 10th. Barboza coming back nice to body but accuracy for Pedraza. Barboza mouth open one at a time and feeling this pace now. Cut right eye Pedraza.
both fellas :appl: a great fight. I've come to 95-95. Awesome stuff

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
two judges have it for arnold by four points & the other has him by two points

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Can't argue too much with the cards. I thought it was a clear victory for Barbosa. But I think the southpaw stance of Pedraza's gave him fits. He did mention he thought Pedraza was going to switch sooner.
-
Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third
Nothing obscene or Mr. Magoo on those cards good win Barboza. Once again Pedraza claws and scraps himself into the guy rallying strong late and now his phone will be blowing up again for next date. Barboza and Teo seems more than logical and very easily made. Not like Teo is running to knock on the front door of Regis Prograis :peeker:

Yeah, I agree. Although tonight it didn't seem for lack of trying, as he was pressing the action early. But Barbosa was picking him off easily. In retrospect, José should've switched to southpaw earlier. He had much more success that way.

Re: emanuel navarrete v liam wilson february third

Zab wished he had that motor too in the really late rounds.
