It is interesting now. At a minimum of marketing why not have either Bud or Spence chime in on Boots and their fight here? They just blew by the mention. Wasn't that long ago that a guy like Boots would already have a signed fight to meet the winner should tonight go his way :-X.

Right hand by Ennis already has the nose of Villa spotty. Very accurate

Villa starting to look like Zurdo with the swift footwork and movement of a tree. Ennis just needs to keep his head hes picking him apart.
Ennis exchanging last minute 3rd! Villa living right there for it and lands clean uppers and left to body of Ennis. He broke thru a little bit. Ennis don't want to make a habit of it but he's talked himself into it.
i've given the first three rounds to jaron but that was a nice third. roiman has the fight where he wants it & landed some good shots

Boots definitely trying to stay in pocket and roll counters. But he looks stuck between style. He'll have to and need to stand with Villa to keep him at bay right now. Villa is a mad man straight in for it.

roiman was having a good sixth but got hurt & wobbled in the last minute of the round
Boots ignites last minute of 6th and rocks Villa with wide right hands and upper. Villa doing decent until that but Ennis great close to round.
roiman was rocked again at the half way mark of the seventh round & looked hurt again at the end of the round. showing some kind of chin

Ennis a different animal closing 8th round. Hellacious combination and torque on that. Villa hammered like a rail spike and now leaking both nose and mouth.
nine zero to boots but roiman hasn't stopped trying & coming forward. jaron fighting in the trenches is smothering some of his work & giving roiman chances to land
Boots getting loopy with the right hands late 9th but chopping trees impressively. Interesting to see if he goes hard for stoppage given the last fight. Dominate performance here. This is getting violent. Nvrmind he closes the show! Villa down hard and nothing but respect. Show Ennis needed.

Going to interesting going forward. Felt like there was a small factor of ' trying to prove something' at work. Standing in the pocket in gaps and giving Villa his best and only shot to win. Down the middle he still gets clipped a little. But on the other side it also shows he had teak tough Villa measured and sized up very early and simply confidently worked on what he knew. It's a fight and good to see a guy growing his advantages rather than riding on a lead. The man has great reflexes and instinct.Quote:
