Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte 2ali
20 Dear dear me.
Yet another failed drugs test from a guy who has been in drug trouble before, but nobody cares.
Joshua feels he is tied in to the deal, so he has to fight …. Rather than pulling the whole event a just picking a better fight in a few months time against a good fighter who would help his career. If he loses to Helenius, it’s all over for him
then they pick a guy who isn’t even fringe. Stoppage losses on his record, very mediocre. Would Ali have done this just to save the broadcaster and his promoter? Would Mike Tyson have fought a guy outside the top 20 if an opponent failed a drugs test? Joe Louis would have done, in fairness.
Joshua has put himself in a terrible position. Win, and it’s ‘so what’. It’s not a good fight for his career and he gets nothing useful out of it athletically.
So we have Tyson Fury fighting someone who has never had a boxing match before. Joshua fighting someone who shouldn’t be PPV. Usyk fighting a mandatory challenger ….. and nobody else even in the heavyweight mix now.
I thought the 1980’s were bad - but this is even worse. No wonder some fucking YouTubers and long retired Welterweights are making more money and engaging fans more than the real fighters.
Criminal. Everyone just has their beak in the trough for everything they can get for the least amount of work possible.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte 2
This is not ppv anymore on DAZN so take it easy X.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte 2
I do like AJ intention of getting right back in by years end regardless. More than can be said for a couple others just waiting on a mega lotto. This now puts him in an odd comparative vs Wilders quick result in sending Helenius to Valhalla :-X.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Helenius well within his rights to stare down AJ , but I think AJ Just used it to stir up his juices a little bit and get himself going.
Can’t see it lasting long, but don’t be shocked if before AJ KO’s him, he gets tagged. Can’t jump in the pool without getting wet.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
AJ is said to have had a great training camp and feels more confident with his new trainer. He needs to show that in his performance tonight and will tell us a lot about how he will do against Wilder.
Glad AJ kept the show on so all the other fighters get paid too.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
He's got form for this hasn't he. Did exactly the same thing against Breazeale. Odd behaviour. That said, he beat the shit out of Breazeale so fingers crossed all the talking translates into action.

I disagree. I don’t think this will tell us anything we don’t already know. Having said that, I’ve always thought Joshua beats Wilder anyway.

Johhny Fisher wins the Southern Area HW belt.

Missed the knockout.
McKean v Hrgovic on now
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Hrgovic throwing big right hands to keep McKean back in the first round.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
McKean holding on in the second round, does not look good for him.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
McKean just surviving now both are awful heavyweights.

Thank God it is over!
Hrgovic lands a brutal right hand and McKean held on but did not know where he was. Good stoppage.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
You would think Side Show Bob would be able to afford trousers that go down to his shoes by now.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Time to hang up those sparkly pink gloves.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Hometown decision for me. I personally thought Washington won more rounds, or maybe a draw. But a unanimous decision with one judge giving it 7-3 ? Not sure about that.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Chisora beats Washington on points. This was going to be a ppv card?

That was too wide but I can see a case for either edging it. Not a great fight.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Washington no credit for early slip/ KD either, they telegraphed the decision there. Really playing Russian roulette with permanent health of Chisora like this all it does is ensure him as fodder in a bigger fight next.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
KSI is a knob and hope Tommy Fury beats him.
Violin music for AJ entrance is different.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Helenius holding the centre of the ring and AJ moving around tentatively in the first round.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
1st to Helenius. Not that it’s going the distance.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
AJ pushing Helenius back in the second round but not looking confident in there so far.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Helenius is pretty lively today, although he just took a pretty big whack there...
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Booing halfway through the 2nd round! Fuck me , that’s the audience you get nowadays. Helenius doing a good job of frustrating Joshua.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
The pressure of AJ starting to tell in the 3rd round Helenius breathing heavy.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
AJ trying to set the big right hand in round 4 but Helenius too experienced to fall for it yet.
AJ jab is good.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Both fighter's nose bleeding from the jabs they are landing in round 5.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Bellew is full of shit. “AJ is carrying Helenius because he wants the rounds!”
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Helenius looks tired after 6 rounds but AJ not looking great or confident.
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Where is Joshua's uppercut?

Andy Lee laughed at him and basically said stop talking rubbish.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
Joshua will win this soon but he's done.
Cash in and have the fury fight
-
Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
I think helenius could have beaten the count

Re: Anthony Joshua v Robert Helenius
AJ lands a big right hand to end it in round seven.
