Adames 4th getting to work. You know he sort of reminds me off Adonis Stevenson when it comes to his legs and footwork. Bit erratic. But definitely lacking the bombs of Adonis.

Bit of a pose off late 5th and Gausha is perfectly fine with that. It's up to Adames to be the champion here. Waiting around way too much.

Turning into a little bit of a forgettable fight. Adames having much trouble solving the puzzle and letting Gausha boil down the pace. The 160 division needs saving and so far tonight two of the top tier guys have not done it.

Nice uptick for Adames in the final round and he needs it. Going hard to the body. I like Adames but this version I don't fancy v Janibek. Cards may be all over the place and this one will go to the "not to rewatch" bin.

I'll be in the minority but still believe Mayweather v Manny was such an overrated let down. Five years too late and a buffet for "casuals" I get it. But on substance it was ehh. Case of all the perimeter attraction being the draw and so many knew it going it.

Like Puello in 1st. Moving Russell into the left start on 2nd. Side note be surprised they let him come in with those long braids. Seen guys before who had to have them wrapped in some fashion. Great for cutting up a guy inside with the head :-X

Right eye of Puello going bad. Lands hard on Russell and moves him with a left! He Russell is just not that good and Puello has the gears and solid balance. Having a solid 11th here

Gave 11 and 12 to Puello, he pieced Russell up in the final round. Very strong finish.

118-109 Russell...115-112 Puello...114-113 Puello...they got that one right. Huge win for Puello and great gameplan. And as has become the norm, that first judge needs a DUI test. Horrible card.

david benavidez v oleksandr gvozdyk up next

Nail definitely focused. Does pedigree age out? Reflexes and timing do. But mentally Nail comes off a very driven man. Benavidez keep it fluid and unforced. Get those hands churning early and often.

Gvozdyk working jab as expected. David high guard and digging very hard with left to body. Right to body now. That almost elbow off the left uppercut was shady by Benavidez :gluur:. Solid first Benavidez.
