I took Boozeboxer because my legal name Spicolisurfsinnawlins was taken. Jeff Spicoli is the name of the man that took my identity, SSN #490-56-2948 :D
Don't even remember why I chose the name Canvasback. Been trying to put the damn photo of the duck on my signature, but haven't been able to do it yet.
Julius Rain is one of the characters I created. He was a Marvelous King, whom fought over a hundred battles. Every men and even beast, marvels at his presence. His Kingdom consist of the most cared for citizens.
Well either that or Jhun Dillinjer, who was a champion in both MMA and Boxing. Some say he was the greatest fighter that ever lived, and some say he could even predict the future. thats why he was so hard to defeat, and he did stay undefeated in both sports through his whole career. Capturing titles from middleweight to heavyweight.
Yes I was born in Manila, but raise in Washington.
haha I just have these thoughts of characters sometimes, so I write a novel about them. Its very fun.
I'm actualy working on a new character, The Big Bilboski. A hell of a ladies man, charms are irresistable and is a well known master of PUA ;D
CutMeMick.....
Famous line in the movie Rocky when his eye is shut close and Rocky tells Mick to cut him. Hence "cut me Mick"
CutMeMick
How and why I chose that name I have no idea, it just popped in my head as I signed up.
Would you ever have thought at that moment you typed that in for your name you would be here for a 18,000+ posts?? It's an odd saying to be made into a name, but it grows on you... Your name aint Mick though obviously, right?
I don't know why I chose mine either... I originally signed up with a crappy name i'd been using since I first got the internet, but it was quite gay, and in a forum full of burley men, I had to change it to something more masculine...
Hence Dizaster it is... I also thought if I ever got to be a pro i'd probably have that on my trunks somewhere..
Funny you mention that, and I've brought this up on one occasion.
But when I 1st got here in 2004 I read mostly, for about 6 months until I got fed up with ALL this Naz talk. I sware EVERY FUCKEN SINGLE WEEK it was about 3 to 5 Naz threads of a comeback or mythical matchups vs. Erik, JMM, Salvador etc. etc. This one particular thread on Naz's GREATNESS is what set me off. I just couldn't take it anymore and I decided to post. Would you believe that within 1 day I had about 20 something Sad Clicks. For posting that Naz was not at the top of P4P all time Featherweights? I was also ridiculed and laughed at when I continusly stated that Cotto would evolve into what he's become today. That he would eventually step it up and beat World Class opponents. Several posters here made not want to comeback. When I logged out that same day I registered I said I wouldn't come on here. I said Fuck that place, I don't need them and they sure as hell don't need me. About 2 days later curiosity got the best of me and I checked to see what the replies said.
I saw that a few people backed me up and so I replied to them and I started to get along with them and so I stuck around. Been here ever since.
Nope names Robert.
Funny most of us just came up with the name out of the blues...
Am I the only one who truly lived their character before they even signed up here then
Quote Bilbo Faggins "Am I the only one who truly lived their character before they even signed up here then "
Probably, as everyone else has more important things to do than play hide-and-go-seek in the forest and befriend old bearded pedophiles.
My name means nothing; I just like the word LEGION and always have. There is a certain proud and powerful feeling to the word, IMO. Plus, I have been around a while now, and I feel like I am part of a LEGION of boxing afficianados{did I spell that right, lol}, though 1/2 the folks on this board are missing some bolts in the machine of sanity:D
I was trying to make it boxing related, No Contest is the most annoying outcome in boxing, and I am annoying so it fit. Also HBO ripped me off, with that being their slogan after all the HBO fights.....
Mine is pretty straight forward. I always hear commentators/ analysts say in every pacfight... "Pacquiao's straight left".
d.s is my intials and (19)91 in the year i was born
Ryan "Lefty" Lee
I don't use my left hand for anything, apart from the backhand shot in tennis and holding a fork ;D
Lefty also sound better than Righty ;)
....my name is Lyle and therefore I just used that because it's cool enough for me
Named after a cat that used to shit in my garden ;)
Von: A, I just liked the way it sounded, and B, it's a bit of a tribute to the great pinstriping artist Von Dutch (Kenny Howard).
Milash: On the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL hockey) there was a european kid name karel pilar (pronounced pee-lash). My last name is Millar (pronounded miller, not mill-R as in kevin millAR the baseball player) so I just adopted it. The Leafs are my club, sad as it is to say.
Since my name is Bradford I used to sometimes write or type it as 'Brad4d" cuz I went through a phase when I thought that 'adding the number thing' was cool &/or hip.
(Actually that still is my license plate on my Jeep)
Anywhooo, when I first registered with Saddo I was entertaining the idea of pretending I was an active boxer, thus the name 'brad4dboxer'.
After I got in here I realized that since I suck @ lying I shouldn't pretend to be what I'm not.
I'm just a fan. ;D
Actually thought I'd posted on this thread before.
Mine is a combination of a couple of coincedental factors.
I'm a big Fan of both Hearns and Hatton, the Hitman Moniqour was applied to me when my friends and I spar.
My second name then is Don******....In scholl they shortned it qnd called me the Don or some older guys called me Donny.
At a boxing event for charity the announcer knew me vaguely and as he was meant to know my name he was to embarassed to ask me my surname and just anounced me as "Hitman Donny"
Lol that's a pretty cool name though to be fair, if you turn pro you are practically guaranteed to be a hit in Dublin and New York.
Just take on 5 jobbers for your first pro fights and if you win you'll sell out the Garden at least once, fight for a middleweight title and become a millioniare.
honestly being a boxer in Ireland has got to be the easiest way to make money in the world;D
I am the Pride of Boston;D
