In many respects, it's not as good as the books BUUTT, despite the fact that it's getting extremely different plot/story wise, I came to accept the fact that it was another version of the same story. Despite the couple of things I'd like to be different, it remains quite good as a show, the overall acting is pretty good and damn, the new season begun with a bang, it was a perfect intro in many respects.
Really liked the full circle with Brotherhood without Banners and Clegan returning to that farm with father and daughter dead now. Hound is a hard man to kill. Could have done without Sam cleaning bed pans for what seemed 15 minutes.
I think that they really wanted to emphasis that his job was litterally shit BUT I admit that the 4-5 minutes it did last were perhaps a bit too repetitive and they could have cut the deal a bit more and we would have get the whole idea. That was perhaps the only downside of the whole thing. I also really like Littlefinger when he smiled at Sansa and Rob diverging on how to do things, it's a small details, perhaps, but it speaks volume.
As for the Hound, the dude's one tough motherfuck**; in the books, there are no way where Brienne, as incredible as she is (even in the books, she could rock most knights) could defeat him.
Lets hope by season 20 the white walkers actually arrive.
I'm just kidding, everyone else has traveled from here to there and back again in 6 seasons and these goings are still strolling.
That was a serious upset, I had to be one of the few watching that actually liked the Sand Snakes :lickish:. Great little battle scene that. Everything is so rushed so far with short season of course. Zero time elapse scale.
Is Tyrion playing them? Their strategy is going to sh-t. Oh yea and they poisoned my Tyene
Dragon mother is getting her arse kicked thus far. Fleet lost, Greyjoys captured, Sand Snakes dead, Unsullied beat a decoy Lannister army to only be surrounded by Eurons fleet apparently and trapped on land, and High garden conquered and another ally killed off. She needs more fookin dragons ;D. Snow goes back to the Wall empty handed and the alliance surely has to crack. This season is very conveniently rushed.
