Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
I still think that in a round about way Klit winning would do joshuas career a world of good.
If you are going to get beat by anyone in the HW division then you won't go wrong with it being Klit people learn and grow from defeat,
Klit is a seasoned pro who has been on the top for over a decade, I'd take a lot more from a defeat like Klit than I would Wilder who is just as green as AJ.
I still say it's a 50/50 fight, and I think it's gunna be a real shit fight, regardless I am fucking looking forward to it.
Head says AJ
Heart says Klit
Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
I'm noticing people are kind of riding the fence now that the fight is about to happen, and I guess I'm about the same way. I don't care one bit who wins, my head would say AJ takes it early, but the negating thing for me was always that Wlad even took the fight, considering he knows AJ and has had him in his camp prior. I'd be really interested to see any sparring footage of the two as that would give us much more to go on. I agree with @Fenster that this is probably the most dangerous straight up dynamic puncher Wlad has faced in eons if not ever, obviously the same is true in reverse, Wlad is better at virtually every aspect of boxing than anyone Joshua has been in with.
I don't share the sentiment that we should expect a bad fight, as I don't think AJ's style/attributes will exactly allow for that. This is probably the best fight involving two genuinely huge men with skills and KO power as there has been in a long time, I'm looking forward to it.

I can honestly say that I am not riding the fence now that the fight is about to happen, I can honestly say that I have been riding the fence since the fight was announced, as Primo will testify.

Do you get many splinters in your ass from sitting on that fence? ;D;D;D
Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
Can't believe how big this fight is, the BBC have been all over it. When have you ever seen a boxing match getting nightly slots on the main news? Not the funking sports section the main bloody news.
Trump, Westminster, NHS, AJ-Wlad, Nuclear war, Terrorists. Without doubt having two squeaky clean, articulate, model professionals has been massive for this fight being accepted by the mainstream media.
AJ is odds-on to win Sports Personality Of The Year before he's even won the fight.

I didn't realize it was £21 for the PPV, fucking hell that's a wee bit steeper than normal

I was tempted to take a punt on watching it via KODI but its too unreliable

That would be illegal and wrong.

A shopworn 41 year old, who has been gunshy for years, who uses his considerable height and weight advantages to smother opponents, and who looked pretty shot last time out SHOULD be blasted to oblivion by a big punching, fast 27 year old who is the same size as him ...........if AJ is even half the fighter our press are saying he is.
Im getting a bit tired of the incessant hype around Joshua, especially his portrayal as a modern day saint 😕

Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
they have stuck Katie Taylor on early, she's normally the fight before the main event, she must have pissed off Eddie somehow.
also whats happened to Connor Benn, he's been awol for quite some time hasn't he

Probably shagging around like his dad did but not the same boxing discipline.
