Hardcore PacFans *sigh*...when will you guys stop getting aroused from victories over has-beens or nobodies like Diaz? Like I said many times, I give him credit for his victories over Morales, Barrera, and being a fill-in and taking care of business when he was barely getting known outside the Phils but over ODLH, Diaz, etc.? Come oooooon. Look at it this way, do you give credit to Trevor Berbick for beating Muhammad Ali? Do you give credit to McBride for beating Tyson? Do you give credit to Camacho for beating Ray Leonard?

After seeing that hardcore PacFans get totally excited over his victories vs Diaz, ODLH, etc. Then it doesn't surprise me to hear you guys getting all aroused with the news of Pac beating his very own sparring partner.

I think the Pac's speed and the southpaw style will differentiate. Collazo gave B- against Hatton. But Pacquiao will give an A+ performance.

I'm saying BIG problems like being knockdown... There were problems but PAC was able to cope with it and end up victorious most of the time...

You give credit to PAC first for taking the Hoya fight and eventually annihilated him inside the ring and made him quit... PAC was the heavy underdog on that fight...

It's just normal daily news update from PAC's camp... Just like the update from Hatton's camp where it's reported that Hatton got blackeyes and trashed in sparring sessions by southpaw sparring partners... It's just normal training updates and no one was overblowing it...

Yeah I know that.
Pac is a coward anyway. Hatton owned him in darts and is gonna own him in the ring. Hatton won´t even give Pacquiao a rematch after he busts him up. Next its Juan Manuel Marquez or Floyd Mayweather again.

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Manny Pac can't even beat an egg. I am so convinced of this, that I am even willing to follow this up by asserting that Manny Pac couldn't even beat Accrington Stanley. Furthermore, I think he would have serious problems trying to overcome various high altitude mountains such as K2 and Everest.
Come on Ricky, let's 'ave 'im!! :D

a coward? I can understand that you're a big hitman's fan but I doubt you'll find any good arguments at the moment to call Pacman a coward, it smells mere partisanry hehe. Personally, I don't think Hatton has the stamina to make it, neither the defense but I will give one big credit to the Uk Hatton's fans: For ambiance and for support, you're just unpaired all around the world. When I saw the Hatton-PBF match in Vegas and realizing that Vegas went England for a night, as much as in the ambiance and in all the rest despite the 8 hours difference or so by airplane, I really thought "well, these english folks are definitely providing their boys with the best support in the world for sure"

I'm pretty much certain anything Miles or Lee say is said tongue in cheek.
The Pac fans are almost unbearable at the moment, this place will be living hell should Pac actually beat Hatton.
For me personally there's too many variables in this fight to make a pick. Pac is faster and more skilled but can he really bang and be banged at this weight? Hatton on the other hand has looked poor of late, feather fisted Paulie aside. Has he really improved on his defence and is he really all that much stronger than Pac?
Nobody will know the answers to these questions until fight night. Until that bell rings this is a pick-em fight, regardless of what the Pac nuthuggers in this thread claim...

This comment of yours is unjustified...
How did PAC fans behaved when PAC annihilated Dela Hoya?? Did they commit outrageous and/or exaggerated celebrations?? I think they're behaving very well...

Latest update:
http://xs538.xs.to/xs538/09163/kenbay562.jpg
Kenny Bayless has been named referee for the “Battle of East and West” between Filipino boxing hero Manny Pacquiao and IBO light welterweight champion Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2.
Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Keith Kizer informed that aside from Bayless, the NSAC had chosen Michael Permick, Glenn Trowbridge and CJ Ross as the three judges for the eagerly awaited showdown.
;D

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
I've no complaints with that. Decent choice of ref.

Re: Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?
Manny Pacquiao Showing No Mercy To Sparring Partners
Manny Pacquiao’s sparring partners are taking a beating at the hands of the world’s No.1 pound-for-pound fighter as he steps up his training for the showdown with Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2.
Super featherweight David Rodela (12-1-2, 6 KO’s) who was knocked out in the tenth round of sparring the other day with a devastating left straight to the body and was out for five minutes was back in the Wild Card Gym Tuesday and absorbed more punishment from Pacquiao’s fists of fury.
Rodela who sparred first instead of last which was what happened the previous time was “hurt again in the second round this time with a right hook” according to conditioning expert Alex Ariza.
Ariza said Pacquiao engaged undefeated light welterweight Hector “Teco” Serrano (8-0, 3 KO’s)in a good sparring session and “also hurt him with body shots a couple of times.” Pacquiao wound up ten rounds of sparring with undefeated lightweight Urbano Antillon (25-0, 18 KO’s), the fighter who crushed Pacquiao’s younger brother Bobby Pacquiao in one round.
Ariza said trainer Freddie Roach said that Pacquiao was “too strong now” and he is hoping to bring in another, even tougher sparring partner for Thursday.
Ariza told that “everything couldn’t look better right now” adding that they “just cant wait to see the fight” against IBO light welterweight champion
He said both Roach and assistant trainer and former world heavyweight champion Michael Moorer, a southpaw, were clearly impressed with Pacquiao who, according to Ariza, “did everything to the T according to the game-plan” drawn up by Roach and Moorer.
Ariza said Pacquiao’s “conditioning and work-rate is unbelievable” and “there were no distractions” which proved to be a big help after Roach shut out even close Team Pacquiao members and allowed only the training staff and sparring partners inside the gym.
