he is the naz of his era.... looking great at weigh but avoiding all the best fighters at this higher weight...
at the lower weights he fought the lot and was a class act.. full respect to that guy but this bigger version is a fake
he didnt do lightwelter he took out a shot Gatti.... and sneaked past it you cant go in that division ((the best division at the time)) without taking on hatton or cotto but saying that the judah fight was a good matchup just a shame he had to wait till he got beaten by baldy to see it as a viable fight.
i cant give mayweather any credit till stops thicking about money.
he has the tools to take on the best but he dosnt.
Baldy was the first true welter he took on but lets face it he he aint a name we are gonna remember come next week ;)
for the record Hatton sickens me in the exact same way Urango FFS whats the point in that.
there are some great fights to be made but these guys are ducking eachother bigtime and it sucks

yeah his pinpoint shots where impressive but he was hitting this guy on the money spot all night and didnt knock him down once so that worries me... but take away the hype and he looks ok ;)

I don't see it in Williams, for a while I thought he would be great, but his power is overrated and his defense is leaky.
Doesn't mean I think he's shit, he's not, but I doubt he really makes it. He's got a lot of confidence, which is good, but he almost has too much, doesn't really worry about other people's shots and that's not good, anybody can be knocked out. But its hard to tell much about him from tonight since he fought an absolute no hoper.
Margarito-Williams would be good, I don't think of Margarito as highly as El Gamo does, but I'd pick Margarito.

I feel you. While I'll admit that Baldomir was not a challenge. In reality he's a club fighter. Fighting him was a waste. But as much as I disliked the match up, the fact that he was the linear champion is the reason why it was hard to really knock Mayweather for fighting him. That and the fact that I don't really think much of Margarito. Also keep in mind that the welterweight division is not exactly strong right now. Truth be told I think it would be in Floyd's best intrest to fight at 140. But I won't say it cuz it would prevent the one fight I really want for Mayweather. And thats Mayweather-Mosley. As for Hatton? Unlike Calzaghe, I actually do have respect for Hatton. I don't think he can beat Floyd. And I don't fault him for moving back down to 140. That don't bother me. What bothers me is that he went back on his word and didn't give Collazo his rematch. Why tell a fighter to his face you'll give him his rematch and than not do it. It's not like Collazo was undeserving. It was a very close fight. I never called Hatton a coward. But this was something that was hard to understand. Think about it. He vacated a championship that was earned in a hard fight to move back down in weight and fight Urango? How can Hatton fans not knock him for it?

So was the money worth it?
