Yeah I loved it too. Especially that Quick Silver scene at the mansion. The whole movie reminded me of the old animated series. Reminded me what I loved about the X-Men.Quote:

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - It wasn't as good as the first one, but Drax and Baby Groot are brilliant
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou ....there's nothing to hate on in that movie, it's a great film.
Watched Jason Bourne and was not too impressed. Matt Damon has got older but the storyline was not good and the action unrealistic, predictable and too contrived. They need to call it a day for the franchise.

Watched Alien: Covenant last night.
Enjoyed it, better than Prometheus and the silly Alien v Predator spin offs. Lots of suspense for the first half, without crash bang wallop horror, great sense of foreboding throughout the film.
its a tough ask for the director, he has to somehow refresh the series while at the same time including and being true to various parts of the film canon (civilian ship in space, mysterious signal, ridiculous disregard for quarantine procedures, skulking alien creeping around, people going off on their own, strong female hero character)
Definitely a film worth watching.
Incidentally, has anybody seen a film called 'Predestination'?
Watch it, well made with the wierdest most disturbing plot twist I have ever seen!!!
