I watched "Ghosts of Girlfriend Past" last night with my fiance had a couple funny parts but for the most part I really didn't care for it. I usually dont mind the romantic comedies but like I said this one just didn't work for me.
I'm awaiting my WC Fields DVD set...I'll let you guys know how they are once they fucking get here
I have watched a shockingly low amount of movies lately, have seen Slumdog Millionaire, Chinatown, that's about it, I've been watching more TV DVD's.
Chinatown is a great one!
I watched The Deerhunter for the first time....man that's depressing, great film, great cast

I saw 9, last week. It was an interesting story for an animated film, but it fell into the same trap as Final Fantasy did in not really targeting an audience which left it a little disconnected more of an audio/visual piece than anything else.
I watched WC Fields in "The Old Fashioned Way" and "You're Telling Me"....very funny movies, WC Fields was a comic genius!!!
Watched this independent film last night called "The Go Getter" not as good as I thought it would be when I saw the previews. The soundtrack was pretty good though.
Watched the soloist last week. I say watched it, I saw the opening 10 mins and then fell asleep until the end credits.

When I initially saw the previews for this I thought man that looks pretty good. Now that its out to rent I always walk past it in the video store I really can't give an explanation why. I haven't heard any good things or bad things about it that would stray me from it.Quote:

I've done pretty well watching films this week.I watched "I'am Legend" on me psp for once,and i also watched a French film that was on T.V called "District 13!",even know it was in subtitles(its very rare i watch subtitle films)the film was really watchable,infact i really enjoyed it.The stunts and action were plenty.Check it out.

At least it's not as bad as Vince Vaughn being Norman Bates....horrid casting! I like Vince Vaughn and all, but as Norman Bates :vd:
I watched The Dark Knight yesterday evening. I thought it was very good in places, but the plot was a little convoluted at times. Christian Bale's Batman voice was utterly ridiculous, and I couldn't help but snicker whenever he spoke. I thought Heath Ledger was brilliant as The Joker though. Really unhinged weird performance.
All in all it was very enjoyable, but they need to fix that Batman voice. It's just a deep mumble.

I watched 'The invention of lying' on Saturday. Only watch this if you are a Gervais fan (which I am) the concept does not carry the film after the 1st 10 minutes. I liked it, but it aint a great film
Tried to watch a bad copy of Surrogate last night. Was like I Robot went to sleepytown. 15 mins in zzzzz. Will give it another go tonight, and if same results send it to the permanant helpful for sleep files.
Watched 'Airplane' for the 1,256,813,469th time the other day, what a classic. :cool:

Anyone seen the previews for that move "Paranormal Activity" movie looks really creepy/scary. I know my fiance will never go to see it with me so I'll probably have to wait til it comes out on DVD and get it.
Zombieland. i didnt like it.
Saw it too. thought it was awesome! Woody was spectacular. So was Bill Murrays cameo. I have a thing for zombie movies though. It is kinda like Shawn of the Dead with the humor, just maybe not as dry. But overall I found it even better.Quote:
