Wow, I leave this thread alone for a few days thinkin it can't hit any new lows, come back & it somehow has. Certain Pac-fans (looking at you particularly SaddoBoxer) need to give this shit a rest, bring it up again at the start of April if you want, but let's have at least a month without this back and forth between the fan-boys of each. Also some people who should definitely know better are kind of treading a bit of worrying line on the stuff about the Fillipines. It's not really the kind of stuff that looks good on the main board :-\

Still going out there hoping Hatton tears Pac apart, but let's just leave it a little while & keep some of the stuff more focused on boxing fellas ;D

A puncher's chance means a boxer is never out of a fight at any moment, because of his KO power, provided he is still competing. That is a complement in a way, to the respect given to Hatton's power at 140 lbs.

Now if you add excellent to it, it means the chance is at a much higher clip, not only limiting it to a miniscule's moment in 12 rounds of fighting, but rather in every moment that they are slugging out, landing mitts. If the opposition neglects defense then that is to his undoing. A puncher may not outbox to win, but certainly he will deliver KO to win!

All in all in that context it meant, despite slim to none as the given view to the chances of a Hatton win, it is still given. It is not a blanket statement that Hatton has no chance of winning whatsoever in this fight. Anyone who has a problem with this, is also one to have problems to any dissenting view.

I hope this not be viewed as condescending, but the reaction of some IMHO have gone astray on the preferable side of civility, however it should not reflect the level of class that the general forummers here show each and everytime, cause seldom do these stray views surface here!

I think to show passion in rooting for your own is never bad, but it should never breach the negative side of civility. For only in these civilised interchanges shall allow the world to maintain its peace.

And as for Bruce i never see you discuss about any other boxer but pac so that says it right there.

You can't just say one fighter has more skills, they both have different skillsets.

I'm wondering a few things about this fight. I think Pacquiao will win if he is light on his feet and keeps it in the center of the ring and works Hatton with angles. The reason Pacquiao won't do to Hatton what he did with De La Hoya is because on that night De La Hoya had no zip. Hatton's footspeed is excellent, in fact it even gave Floyd problems. Floyd handled Judah's speed with ease but you could see he was consistently bothered by how fast Hatton got in on him. Pacquiao has never faced consistent pressure like he'll face with Hatton. If Ricky gets him moving backwards though and forces him to the ropes it could easily go the other way.
