Yes, the new generation and old are good. Still not seen days of future past yet.
That is the only one i had not seen either until the other night, I enjoyed it. ;D
It is really long! Will watch it again when it comes on TV.

Dunkirk should have won the Oscar for Best Picture. Most critics liked it, although a few critics of the ultra PC crowd were negative.

Dunkirk was filmed well but I found it lacking. I thought it was a bit underdone for the significance of the event. I would have liked them to get into why the Nazis didn’t utilize the situation to attack and how they ended up in the situation to begin with. Seems like it could have been so much better. Those poor SOB’s stuck on that beach must have been terrified, what a clusterfuck that was. World war 2 was horrible but there are so many interesting stories that came out of it.

In Darkness (2018 ) 7/10
I liked Natalie Dormer's performance, she's a very talented actress. I enjoyed seeing the other two former Game of Thrones actors, James Cosmo and Ed Skrein. The music and cinematography was very good.
The story was interesting enough, but lacked clarity by times and seemed to me to be incomplete. There should have been a better explanation of some of the plot twists, especially at the end.
Adding another few minutes here and there to give the viewer a more detailed explanation of events would have made it a better movie, and then the critics would perhaps not have been so harsh in their reviews.

Ready Player 1, I really liked it, a bit long tho
Rampage, alright for a bit of entertainment, nothing fantastic here.
Re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Walked in on Pale Rider the other night. Went back and checked out The thin red line and HBO series The Pacific again. Thin Red line should have been much bigger than it was. I say just as good as Saving Private Ryan. Little more artsy and philosophical but good. Nick Nolte was red face brilliant.

The Rock has proven surprisingly funny in roles.

I hated 'The Thin Red Line' saw it at the cinema. Never seen Pale Rider. Now I have seen Saving Private Ryan and thought the beginning was amazing but lost interested as it went on.

Re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
Started 'Citizen Kane' last night what a brilliantly shot film, I think it's so eye catching that you can get lost in that rather than the actual story. Orson Welles was a supreme talent in anything he did.
Natalie Dormer kind of looks like a cartoon character version of a person....I guess it's the big eyes and the smirk she always has on her face. She's been in friggin everything The Tudors, Game of Thrones, The Forrest.....she typically gets naked in her movies and tv series as well :thumb:
Saving Private Ryan was an experience. I remember a WW2 Vet spoke before it played when I saw it in the theater, it was really impressive although yeah towards the end it started to drag a bit and that little punk who is ALWAYS the little punk bitch weenie played that role again to a T....just up and letting Nazis kill his fellow soldiers :shakehead:
I havent' given The Thin red Line as much attention, I have The Pacific in the queue though and if it's anything like Band of Brothers I'll love it. Generation Kill was decent if you like that kind of take on war movies/series
