Dude Floyd aint no attraction anymore. , He lost fans out the ass last night. Hell his $1000 fans left at Round 9 and Round 10 , they walked right outta the arena. this fan right here wanted to bitch slap his country ass for such a stale lackluster non motivated un stellar performance. I'd never watch him again in a million years. in fact he don't deserve this thread right here, for that piss poor, run for your life performance.. Hatton on the other hand has a thrill factor, he comes to fight, he has heart and is willing to sacrifice losing to win impressive. he may not get the knock out but he is going to try to give the fans their moneys worth.. all mayweather did was play the safe game .. and never took chances. His opponents got to stop chasing him around the ring. Make him come inside and fight. Baldimor had the right idea to start with.. letting Floyd come to him, once he started chasing, Floyd started running . no more 24 - 26 foot rings .. God damn that ring was big !

Unfortuantely i dont think Baldomir fought his best fight against Floyd. Believe me IF Floyd stays at welter and takes on all comers, which to be fair a self proclaimed P4P king should do, he will get beat. But i fear he will get out now and move up to 154. At this point he beats Spinks, and claims another title. He gets beat off Oscar, and if he dares get in the ring with Hatton, he loses that too. ;)

Ok, what happened with Collazo is completely irrelevant in regards to Hatton and Mayweather facing off. Reason i say this is because Collazo was a legitimate welter ( like Baldomir ), but Mayweather, to be fair isnt. Did Floyd come into the ring at 145 or something?. Baldomir was in fact about a stone heavier come fight time. Thats a natural welter against a blown up lightweight. ;)
Hatton is a natural Light-welterweight, he stepped up because HBO wanted him too, he was training originally for a fight at 140. And ya got take ya hat off to him for going in with natural welter considering his style of fighting. As previously mentioned Floyds first fight was Sharmba and he's no welter. Then Baldomir a natural welter, now both of these are two boxers who i think would lose to Collazo ;)
Ricky took on the number1 boxer in his division in Kostya, added to this he was also ranked No3 P4P at the time by alot of people. And he made the guy retire on his stool, and thats something. Now when have we seen Floyd do this to anyone above the weight limit of lightweight, and that has also been considered as the No1 in there division, or a P4P ranked fighter ?
Ricky will continue to campaign at LWW, unless a fight comes off against Floyd that will earn him something equal to what Floyd is getting paid. And to be fair after last nights performance by Floyd, what with the boo'ing and people leaving the fight early, i think Hatton would be the bigger attraction ;)

Do you people not realize the USA is a bigger country than Britain?? Jesus christ, there's no way in hell Hatton would be the bigger attraction. Why because Floyd didn't fight an exciting fight last night?? I suppose all the Americans who saw Hatton for the first time on HBO last time were just on the edge of their seats due to Hatton's entertaining performance. Or maybe they were, when he was nearly KTFO in the 12th round. But other then that it was fairly boring as well. The only difference is that Floyd was fighting the real champion who has beaten two good fighters this year, and won convincingly. As far as both Baldomir and PBF losing to Collazo, that's absolutely priceless.. Collazo is no world beater, he was a sparring partner for guys like Judah and Cotto before he got his shot against Hatton.. So say what you like the fact is Hatton is not only not a natural welter like Floyd, he isn't even effective at welterweight. The fact that he is now fighting Urango and talking about a potential dream fight with Castillo, a lightweight who Floyd beat years ago moving up, really should say it all.

Totally disagree. I was one of the few that knew Floyd was going to win,and stated on numerous occassions that he would,maybe even stopping Baldo. The fact that he did not stop Baldo has no bearing on my criticisms on his performance,it's the fact that I did not see a boxing clinic. That's not hating,it's called telling the truth. In one or 2 of the rounds,he wowed me with his lead rights and ducking under what Baldo did but apart from that,he didn't land any bone crunching shots,there was no jab,no bodywork etc etc. That's not hating,it's facts.I don't even see how he hurt his hand,it wasn't as if he was landing cracking shots off the top of Baldo's anvil like head,he wasn't.
I personally am not hunting anyone to beat Floyd,I think he can beat everyone although after seeing last night's fight,I honestly think Tony would give him hell although Floyd would be favourite but what gets to me is the fact that after like 9 rounds in the bag,1 or 2 rounds to go,rather than amaze the crowd or give them something to cheer about,he did nothing but run. Welp...I was rather disappointed with PBF's fight this weekend...not like most of you were...you know you...YOU.
The criers. The posters vigoriously hammering out on your keyboards that "Floyd didn't do this, Floyd didn't do that".
He won...much more convincingly than two other champions who sailed accross the seas to fight lesser opponents...but come on...what did I expect...this is Floyd...so bring out the hate.
In the end...my guy won...& that's what counts.

BUT for me i would much rather see that guy who fought Castillo just standing against the ropes infront of a puncher with Castillo power with on shoulder up and making him miss ((very impressive)) and winning an exciting and close fight.
im not impressed on watching him running around the ring stealing a fight regardless of what im labled because of it... the more he moves up the more we are gonna see this kind of showing and if he dosnt get his matchmaking right he will lose at welter and above of that i have no doubt... id prefer him to move down and impress against guys his weight and forget this unrealistic dream of facing DLH and giving himself too much of a natrual weight dissadvantage that he has to fight this way.

you guys are hating hard on PBF. he dominates all of his fights and has knocked out 2/3 of his competitoin.
and Ricky Hatton doesn't have the defense to beat PBF. and his bulldog mentality will get him knocked out from Floyd's lighting speed.
