Toney had been calling Benn out even before he fought Nunn. Why didn't Benn fight him before Nunn or anything after Nunn? Because Toney was calling Nigel Benn out. And Benn ducked him...why? ;)

LOL, no one had heard of Toney pre Nunn, and post Nunn, Benn was fighting at 168lbs, Toney at 160lbs. It was not until 93, that fight became realistically possible, and the build up to it began, then Toney met RJJ.... ;)

Either than Glen Johnson give me one fighter that gave Roy Jones Jr. problems with the straight right hand... Also I would rather be hit by Hearns' right hand over Roy left hook any day of the week.

I agree, Hearns' straight right was beautiful on a little guy like Duran

but Roys left hook on guys who were bigger than him, whole nother story

Bernard hopkins found that he could hit roy with rights..but too bad for him it was too late in the fight...

After Toney beat Barkley Toney said "Nigel Benn's Momma is the Loch Ness monster!" and Benn would of LOVED to of gone over there and fought Toney, but he wanted to KO Nunn first to make the Toney fight bigger.

Benn lived in LA in 1994, he went to the press conference of Toney's Prince Charles Williams fight but security had been informed not to let Benn in. Then, on Toney's first day in camp for Roy Jones he was greeted by none other than Nigel Benn who shouted across the gym "Oi! Get in the ring with me you fat B******, I'll get you in shape." But Toney refused and his entourage wouldn't let Benn near him. They rumourely had to be split apart at the Outlaw Boxing Club (Mickey Rourke's gym) once as well, sometime earlier in 1994.

At one point Benn said he'd fight Toney in the carpark and love every second of it!

But, Toney went and fucked it up by losing to Jones :)
