I think Ruiz gets a bad rap because had he been in any other era he would never have got one world title let alone be a 3 time champ.(if you count getting handed back to him after the Toney DQ a 3rd time, I'm sure Ruiz does! :P)

Now if he does get past Sultan and has a 4th shot a world title people feel a little sick.

It's not his fault that he's a useless bear hugger but it will never endear him to the public. Whining like a baby after a loss only adds to his lack of appeal.

Thing is though, if he does fight Wlad I'll still be rooting for him because I find the tall milky robot even less appealing. No doubt he's good but I still don't like him.

Hopefully the two will KO each other into retirement.

Wlad's gonna be at the top for a long time like it or not, so perhaps you need to focus on the lighter weight classes
