Margarito video, why I think he would lose...

I also checked out how Zab and Floyd did on buys so yep...I do know and nope,it did not amount to $8million for Floyd,the man who was analysing said it did ok and compared it to other fights. I agree Margarito would not be as popular a fight yet.... firstly as soon as Oscar mentions someone as a good fighter,their profile is raised,people were wondering who is this Margarito he speaks of,second,you have alllll the Mexicans/latinos that would come out to support their man ESPECIALLY in a big fight,I mean Jesus Chavez is nowhere near as popular as he was in the PBF fight and finally I agree Arum knows he will lose out but come on,this guy is smart,he knows that Margarito is an exciting fighter and when he gets the exposure,Arum will be the one making more money. If an athlete is gonna get paid millions he better be exciting, never playing it safe putting everything on the line. I'm a huge fan of Floyd's talent but bottom line, he does NOTHING but play it safe, with the fights he chooses and his style of fighting. I like where you are coming from and you are DAM RIGHT,Floyd has never been the main attraction in his fights. Even in the Zab fight,it was not the fight itself but more the image surrounding the fight which got the attention and right again....like I have been saying,Floyd is trying to make millions by taking the easiest options available.CC. bro,good points.

MARGARITO WOULD NEVER BEAT FLOYD.

Margarito's style will be picked apart by Mayweather. Throwing more punches just means you get tired quicker. You need to be a counter puncher to beat Floyd, and Margarito isn't. He's an octopus who needs to plant his feet to throw shots. And he is wide open up the middle and to his body. Margarito has next to no chance against Floyd :)

I think Floyd will win that bout myself, but I also think Floyd has very tiny balls (being 147 his balls are already meant to be little but damn....)

That's funny. Tony may be deserving, but I can't see him beating Floyd. Even if I hated Floyd, and bowed down to Tony, I wouldn't want Tony to fight him.

Let me rephrase= I would want Tony to fight Floyd to get his shot, but, I wouldn't want him to take another loss. It may do him some good like chico, but, Tony is already dissed, and avoided by too many fighters, so if he added another loss, more people would discredit him, especially getting outboxed every round. I would try to get another recognized fight for a belt. It makes sense to go after floyd, but losing might set him back further. If I was him I'd ultimately fight Floyd for sure, but, it may prove to be costly financially.

Also about Justin Juuko, first of all that was SIX years ago, even Diego was too young to realize his own potential. Diego and Mayweather squared off over FIVE years ago, with Diego only improving in time. The Diego of Justin Juuko wouldn't last against his current competition. Joe Goosen as Diego's trainer has really helped his game, mentally and technically. Diego was just a young man, now he's a veteran of the game with great fights and accomplishments back to back to back.

Margarito has earned his shot, like any good man, the hard way. And to say he doesn't deserve it because he "looks like Diego did six years ago" is just not smart.

I was speaking about times in their careers, Chico and Tony resemble each other. They fight nothing alike now, but Chico did used to fight like Tony, as far as volume punching, and stalking.You must have mistaken me about Tony not deserving a shot. All other top welters have recent losses besides Tony, so who else deserves a shot? I've seen all of those fights with Tony that you mentioned. I never said Tony and Chico are the same, I said Tony reminds me of him. Ther is a difference, Earth to Gyrokai. Ha Ha! And I do agree with Chico should be fighting at a bigger weight. He looked like he had aids at 130. And, he don't look much better now. Yes, Tony uses angles more than Chico ever did, and boxes more. See,I know where you are coming from and glad you rephrased it but people may think that Tony is easier to fight then IF he lost every round which is highly unlikely anyway!!!! I just see a guy who has nothing to lose and he will go out there,give it his best and HE WILL CATCH Floyd somewhere,the question is how will Floyd take the power. At 147,I have yet to see the fleet footed Floyd from the fights against Chico,no where near close even.

Exactly what I've been saying since day One. Floyd would pick Tony apart all night with that jab to the stomach and right hand leads. Gimme a fucking break, this guy is a bigger and much slower version of Chico. Floyd, at least right now, just doesn't tire. If Chico and Gatti weren't able to land the big shots, Tony's slow ass won't be able to either. Judah barely landed anything significant except that one shot in the fourth on Floyd and he was probably just as quick or quicker than Floyd. Tony's only got a puncher's chance.
