I think he needs a ton of credit. I think credit was a big issue in this fight. Let's face it. Who gave Collazo a shot? Other then Starr (who picks the underdog everytime it seems), noone viewed Collazo as a threat and I HATE to bring it up because under training is the worst excuse ever imo but it has to be a factor here. I mean, Hatton did ons of press for this fight, he was doing tons of press, and...well he just wasn't looking like the guy who fought Tszyu or Collazo.

Hatton said in the post fight presser that he felt like a bloated 140 lber rather then a legit welter. His stamina is fine when he is in prime shape though, and his power carries fine. Ask Tszyu ;)

I thought he won the fight.

Castillo was Floyd's first fight at a new weight as well. And after the decision, what does Floyd say? "Let's do it again."

not very champion-like.

Roy Jones also said he'd go to Germany to fight Dariusz. Talk is cheap.

Didn't Hatton also say that he felt so much stronger at Welerweight and was going to go through Collazo ???

You don't know that because Hatton didn't have to go 5 more rounds after seeing birds ;)
Re: BOTTOM LINE: Hatton can NOT beat PBF!!
Roy NEVER said he'd go fight Daruisz in Germany...he said "WHY would I have to go to Germany, I'm the man, I'm in America this is where I fight"

Re: BOTTOM LINE: Hatton can NOT beat PBF!!
Saddo, that statement about Collazo is goddamned ridiculous! He isn't the 2nd best and Hatton ain't the best either.
Collazo has a difficult style for anyone and Hatton didn't work the body enough. Sad showing for Hatton but he still did more than Luis

What else would he say? I feel weak and this guy is going to give me problems. Post fight talk > Pre fight talk.

Thats amazing. He goes from unknown to second best welter all because he made hatton look bad.wow.LOL. Then i guess zahir raheem is the second best light weight cause he beat morales and castillo/corrales will be in no rush to fight him.Right?
