Re: I'm not bashing Ricky Hatton but.........................................
Everyone should stay off Judah's nutsack for a while until he comes back and wins a fight. He's just lost 2 fights. He doesn't deserve to be given this sort of P4P attention until he wins.
You won't have to wait too long. After his suspension is up, he'll probably fight a bum in a warm up fight and then be thrown into an eliminator or a title against a name for short money.
I agree that he should sack his father. Yoel appears to foster and encourage Zab's character problems, craves the limelight, talks smack and appears to offer nothing in the way of good advice during fights.
Zab's 28, probably too late to change his stripes. He needs to develop a blue collar work ethic to go with his talent, ditch the hip-hop mag lifestyle and the hype men and team up with a trainer who's authority he defers to.
Re: I'm not bashing Ricky Hatton but.........................................
Why the heck are you people talking about Judah still? He got what he deserved with the ban,he's lost 4 of 7 and as far as I'm concerned,he is out of the picture. He did not deserve the shot at the Pretty Boy,got it,blew it,game over.
Secondly,STYLES MAKES FIGHT.Hatton fought someone he knew was going to give him trouble, fought him and beat him. Yeah,he should give him a rematch because he was not as impressive as he should have been but he won.
Oh and Judah can have all the trainers in the world but he does not have the mental edge and if you do not have that, you can never be a real warrior. Also,I read(sprry if I'm mistaken)that Tszyu should have given him a rematch, that is some silly point, why give a rematch to someone who took 2 rounds to figure out and who you nearly left seriously damaged. When you hear Judah spout shit like he thinks he's P4P number 1 after the Floyd fight, you wonder whether that shot from TSZYU LEFT PERMANENT damage. He also scared when he gets hit hard and goes on the D/runs for the remainder of the fight(Baldomir and to an extent Floyd fight)

Agreed...& the only reason that Judah & Hatton should even be mentioned together is that Hatton destroyed the man that devastated Judah. ;D
Re: I'm not bashing Ricky Hatton but......
I haven't seen the fight yet, but have Some of you ever heard the expression "A bad day at the office" ???
So he didn't look great in THIS fight, but he is 41-0 hardly lost a round in most of his fights & dethroned a legend less than a year ago!!
Don't judge the guy on 36 minutes of his career FFS!!!

Bullshat! ;)
You do know that fighters have tapes and prepare for styles right ??? Mayweather KNEW that Judah would give him trouble so he developed a plan. Something Hatton didn't have ;)

Then how can you even make a comment. I can see whatever opinion you give will be bias. There have been just as many people on this site who have said he looked bad as there are who said he had a bad day and you choose to make that comment without even seeing the fight. Why couldn't he had just LOOKED BAD. Watch the fight first.

A fighter doesn't become a bad fighter overnight!!!
I was commenting on his previous 40 fights of which I have seen most - so whatever he looked like in this fight is irrelevant in the context of what I said!!
He could've got bashed up for every second of every round it still would not make me forget his previous fights.

Never said he became bad just said he looked bad. I too am looking at his previous 40 fights where he fought D,C,and C+ in his first 38 fights(remember that was the big if about hatton)then beat an A fighter in tszyu just to good back to C level fighters in Maussa and Collazo. Trust this ain't about just one fight.

Maussa and Collazo were World Champions, regardless of what you think of them!
Hatton has won 3 world titles in less than a year - deserves a bit more credit imo.

I'd like to interject this...I buy into what both of you have to say.
I have doubts about Hatton based on his previous opposition...but he does deserve credit for beating the champions that he beat...even though only one of them actually stands out as a real champ in the majority of our minds...that one being Kostya...but that aint really fair to Collazo is it?
Oh yeah...& Maussa...but we all know that fwocker got lucky! ;D
You both have good points...seriously.

Maussa was just as much a paper champ as gatti was at 140 cause he beat a paper champ in harris. Collazo wasn't even a paper champ being that he got a belt that at the time wasn't even vacant(remember judah was undiputed at the time) and Collazo beat a paper champ in rivera to get that belt. Stop with the lame excuses. you know those belts don't mean anything just likes floyds ww and light ww don't mean anything besides the fact he beat better fighters to get them. Neither one of thes guys are world class and you know it.

I think he has taken the right route so far in talking the fights with Maussa and getiing 2 more belts, yes we all no the limitations of Maussa and as I've said I haven't seen Collazo yet so can't comment.
I aint biased about Ricky Hatton, I've always stated that I don't think he would PBF!!
When you look at what happened to Lacy, you have to think that Hatton is sensible in taking his time, the way MAB and JC Chavez did, at the end of the day he is a 3 time world champ (whatever anybody says) and his stock is pretty high right now! Better than than fighting PBF or Cotto ( his 2 main threats imo) before he was ready. Peronally I don't think he will ever be ready for PBF, but let's be honest who wiill??

I disagree.
Maussa was way more of a paper champ than Gatti...not that that's saying much.
Paper champ or not...Collazo gave Hatton his tuffest fight of his career...& no offense to my fellow mod Big H or the Hatton fans on this board...that wasn't just a tuff night at the office.
Collazo has what it takes IWO based on that performance alone. He took the best of what Hatton had & he worked with him down to the last bell.
Hatton said after the fight that he was on point & that all was right.
Everyone's making excuses for Hatton that Hatton refused to even make.
IWO, just after the last round when the fighters give their interviews is generally the best time to get the actual results of the fight. It's not in the fans hands or under some writers pen point or finger tip...it's straight from the horsey's mouf!
Hatton credited Collazo & so should we all. Both men fought to the best of their abilities...that much can be said...whether you are for the decision or against it...well...that's just a moot fwockin point in itself.
Collazo no longer retains his title & Hatton is now free to do with it what he will.
Re: I'm not bashing Ricky Hatton but......
And if we're talking about opposition ,who at 140 or 147 has a bigger name than KT on their record
Henrey Brussels (who??)
Gatti - something like 10-5 for his previous 15 fights prior to PBF
Mitchell - Coming off a loss - to guess who Kosta Tszyu
Judah - Coming off a loss and already lost 3
