You have to be racist to be patriotic. You cant just say your great and no have the muscle to back it up!
You obvioulsy have no pride in our nation's history or you have over looked anything good... to me the flag represents social, econmic, scientific and industrial pioneering, standing up to the third reich when every other nation was either scared or defeated and the fact that our tiny little Island has achieved so much on a world wide scale. Is any of that racist? it has nothing to do with the colour of our people's skin our their ethnicity and everything to do with the intergrity of our societ and the minds we have aloud to grow and acheive.
maybe closer to the crusades that was what the flag represented but its 2006 Sheps... hine the flag and try and prevent patriotism but what happened 100s of years ago stays that way and if people would stop being so petty it wouldn't matter today, why should it? society has changed and we are different people.
Missy, people don't wave this nations flag any more... they wave the football teams flag... so what if they get an image of david beckham covered in hair gel when they wave it and can't tell the difference between Gazza and winston churchill... :P

Im proud of all of that!!!! im proud of our history, but be fair, alot of our "Super Power" time was spent invading and killing foreigners.

The queen is nothing but a figurehead and holds no executive powers. In theory she cann still vito an act of parliament, but this a power that in reality she wouild never be able to use
She may "Reign" but she doesn't "Rule"
The Monarchy is just a tourist attraction!!

Is it just me but doesnt the queen still have the power to dissolve parliment?
Either way im giving her money when i pay tax, as well as giving to parliment, i dont see why i should do that, what has she done.

She does/or used to,it was a document with a specific name which if she signed would dissolve Parliament but I don't think she would ever use it and no,I have no idea why that bint gets my £££ either.
