Good point. Theyre only dangerous when someone drains ridiculously down in weight (Castillo perhaps) and goes into the fight in no fighting condition. Maybe same day weigh ins combined with a strict physical or whatever (I havent thought this through) would work.
Some fights just get ridiculous with the weight differences, Ill dig up examples at some point but as I cant be bothered right now, Ill take that you agree with me on that point. (This is gonna bite me in the ass when I remember how Im talking to ;) )

You know, I absolutely HATE to rub it in but I'm just SO happy, Sky sports 1 is showing Cotto vs Malignaggi AND B-hop vs Tarver LIVE and consecutively. $99.98 is a hefty price to pay for being an american :) , there's some fuel tax money refunded :)

Things were pretty tame at today's Miguel Cotto-Paul Malignaggi press conference until the main event fighters got to the podium. Then the action started. "I was reading the Latino papers the other day," said Malignaggi, "and I read some stuff that Cotto was saying that he couldn't wait to knock me out. I'm counting down the seconds until Saturday to see if that's going to happen." He also got a good laugh when he pulled out a bottle of water and said "Mmmmm. This tastes good. You want some Miguel?" alluding to Cotto not being able to drink water to make weight. "Cotto says he knows nothing about me," continued Paulie. "He doesn't who I am, never seen me fight, well, I'm going to tell you who I am. I'm the 'Magic Man,' Paulie Malignaggi and I've got a big bag of tricks that I'm going to pull out on Saturday."

I actually think Paulie has a good style to win this fight. But i sai the same about Branco. Speed alone is not going to win the Paulie the fight. Branco was equally as fast but count handle the assault and was brocken down. I think this fight will probably go the same way except with Paulies people throwing in the towel in the 10th or 11th

Cotto looks like death on that photo, btw he was speaking english on sky before, it wasn't too bad. He made sense at least. He has the most monotonous voice in the world though.

I SOOO want B-Hop to win this , but I don't think he's a busy enough fighter to bother Tarver at any weight let alone coming up to Light Heavy. I tend to think this will be a carbon copy of the Jermaine Taylor fights, what might be Hopkins saving grace is Tarver is not that busy either and coming down nearly 40lbs in weight from his movie role. So I tend to think it will be slow in the beginning and Hopkins will be making Tarver eat lead rights by the late rounds. So it comes down to this if Hopkins can get started earlier than he likes to or steals 1 or 2 of the early rounds he wins by split decision if not Tarver wins by split decision. My official guess is the same as Wacko's though (I too hope I'm wrong) Tarver by split decision.
