He is a marketers dream, he didn't sell out THIS arena because they upped the ticket prices to unheard of values ;)

You must have been watching that fight with hopeful eyes, because Winky was a dominating force "half of the time". The other half had Taylor slamming hard shots to the body and past his guard. Taylor was never hurt and never broken down in that fight. He fought all 12 rounds, which Winky should have done. Taylor acts the way he does because he's an extremely modest kid.
He may be modest outside the ring but it doesn't matter in the ring because he lost that fight. and Winky DID fight all 12 rounds, I don't know why everyone things he coasted from Taylor. The only time in the 12th he took a backwards step was in the last 30 seconds where he knew he won the round and Taylor tried to come in and do something and Wright hit him with a straight left hand to back him up. But I guess you missed that hearing lampley and them saying that Winky was running when Lennox was saying Winky was switching it up on Taylor and had him confused. But you missed that didn't you?

You talk about shots and percentages. What gave Taylor any kind of chance was his power shots, which equalled Wright in output, but were much harder. That's why there was a draw. I don't think Taylor won, I'm with Harold Ledderman, the 3 judges combined, and most of the media who believe the fight was a draw.
So if it was by who landed the harder punches, are you saying then if a fighter lands 20 soft shots in the round and his opponent lands one hard shot that does more damage then the previous 20 that the other fighter should get the round ??? Please, if that were so would Hopkins have lost the 12th to the same Jermain Taylor?

You speak as if everybody knows there's some sorta conspiracy, but they just won't admit it. Maybe there is no conspiracy, maybe not everyone saw the fight with Wacko's eyes.
And maybe not everyone saw it in your eyes.
What you need to realise is that Wright DID NOT coast in the 12th round. Since everyone wants to talk about Birmingham telling Wright to fight in the 12th but he also told him to back away after firing because Jermain can't get to him.
Here's the 12th
They stand off from each other and Winky is going forward and taylor is going backwards, Winky is throwing shots at Taylor who is backing up, at about the 2 minute mark taylor hasn't thrown a punch and Winky has been backing him, Winky lands some hard shots and Taylro swings and Winky grabs him to get close and Taylor doesn't do anything.. now Winky boxes from the outside and is hitting Taylor who swings and is having an issue hitting Winky, Wright is circling around Taylor and spinning him and hitting him to the body, less then a minute left and Taylor throws 3 shots at Wright all of which hit his gloves and Wright presses Taylor to the ropes with his own combination, and then he follows Jermain and hits him, and then Winky is circling and circling and Jermain still hasn't done anything of significace yet and now Winky is boxing around and Jermain is frustrated and tries to lunge in and Winky hits him with a hard lead left hand as he falls in and then holds him, the ref seperates them and Winky moves away and circles until the bell rings and Winky holds his hands in the air.
So how can anyone say that Winky "coasted" the 12th is beyond me unless
A) you've only seen it once
or
B) you are mesmorized by the commentary!!
