Re: England wasn't good enough
A freind of mine 8 years ago now asked if I would be interested in forming a team to run Bisham Abbey and Lilishall. Said he had to go and observe for a few days, but would get back to me. He did, when I asked him how it looked, his reply stunned me. He told me they hadnt got a clue and it would take Him 12 months to sack all the idiots who ran it. Also they had all the quliffications in Sports Sciene, but unfortunatly didnt have the brains to apply it.

Terry, Lampard and Gerrard left their club form at home.
Robinson was not himself.
Hargreaves and Crouch tried their damnedest, but they are simply not good enough to do the jobs they were asked to do.
Rooney was clearly not fit.
But the real criticism belongs to the management. They were simply not up to the job, and it is a deep concern that a big part of that team is taking over as manager...
I totally disagree, Hargreaves tried his hardest but wasnt good enough?? He was by far the best player on the pitch from both teams.

Agreed, he was all over the pitch working his bag off. Lennon always looked good when he had the ball and running at them. Crouch ??? is he anything more than a big lug for us to aim crosses at? I'm sorry you have to be able to do more that to make it don't you? Defensively they did us proud. They tried to pull us out wide and out of shape and they couldn't break us.
Yes it was wrong to take four strikers, two of which were not fit. Walcott? why? no offence to the lad but we can't afford to take baggage.
I'm tired of heroic defeats. If we can play as strong as we did with 10 men why can't we do it with 11.
I said one of us would get sent off and we did. I also reckon Rooney should have lamped ronaldo, he had already been sent off, with a bit of luck he could have taken him out as well, let's see you wink now. ;)
Re: England wasn't good enough
I thought Crouch did well every time he played, his task was a thankless one against the Portugese and he did it well, he made alot of ball stick up front and caused them lots of problems, Carvalho was kicking fuck out of him by the way.
Agreed on Hargreaves, played a variety of roles and didnt let anyone down in any.
Re: England wasn't good enough
well yes he held the ball up till he got support but I dunno I expect a striker to try and take it past a defender, maybe I'm old fashioned ;D
Re: England wasn't good enough
Don't think ive ever been so angry at the telly before when i saw that cunt Ronaldo winking. I want to see that little shit crying again and possibly with a broken leg.
I wanted to reach inside the telly drag him out and punch fuk out of him.

England got beat
Brazil got beat
Who's in the finals?
Re: England wasn't good enough
I now want to see France win it. Simply because i think Zidane deserves it. The man gave all the brazilians a lesson in how to play football...the guy is amazing and hard as nails to boot. You wont catch him rolling over 5 times on the floor trying to get people sent off.
I will be rooting for france with all my heart against Portugits. I want to see Ronadlo cry...cry like a baby you fucking weasel.I hope he starts crying then falls over, breaks his nose and possibly knocks some teeth out. I hate the c*nt.
All this doesn't detract from the fact that we simply were not good enough but...
COME ON FRANCE AND ZIDANE!
Re: England wasn't good enough
France beat Brazil 3-0 in 98 but I'd say this loss was worse... RONALDO!!!!!!!!!!! >:mad
Re: England wasn't good enough
I dont think Ronaldo did alot wrong, the cheeky headbut at the start of the game was no big deal, if Rooney had done it we would have laughed.
All he did was complain to the ref that it was a foul, Everyone would have done the same.
The wink was a bit daft but not a big deal. In all Ronaldo wasnt responsible for Rooney going off so its not like he was saying Ive done my job, I intended to get him sent off and I have.

Thats what he said to Rooney apparently.
Anyway i still hate him...he's a weasely shitkunt
Re: England wasn't good enough
OK lets say he did, what did HE actually do that got Rooney sent of, I dont like the bloke, but he didnt do anything wrong. Its wrong to try and cheat someone off of the pitch, but he didnt.
