Did Roman Karmazin get a Raw Deal?

I don't see how the press row had it for Karmazin. I gave him 2, 10, 11 and 12. 9 was IMO even, but i'd toss it to Karm if I wanted to avoid even rounds, because he seemed to get some momentum out of it--even though I don't think he actually did anything with that round. So at best, Karmazin loses 115-113.

I picked the third option though. I'm not convinced the fight would have turned out otherwise, but the ref should have (a) warned Spinks about the excessive holding and (b) made them fight out of the clench. That being said, early on in the fight, the ref WAS waiting before stepping in to break them up, and Karmazin was doing nothing with it. I think if Karmazin had taken advantage of those opportunities and made an inside fight out of it when he could, the ref wouldn't have been so quick to break the fighters up in the later rounds. So he can blame the ref somewhat, but he takes a lot of the blame himself. But if the fight was 15R, Karmazin definitely would have KO'd him.

Personally, I'm a fan of the dancing entrance.

Hey wack, not that I want to draw you into an argument or anything but I thought this was a virtual replication of the first Hopkins Taylor fight. :P

Did anyone else notice Spinks using his head whenever he clinched? He fought a good fight the first half, took the fight to Karmazin. Just a little dirty with rubbing his head in his face. The commentators kept saying Karmazin's eye was red from the jab, but I think it was from Spinks rubbing his hair on his face.
