And as far as being good or bad for the fighters. This is boxing and as so many on this sight love to preach about, its up to the fighter to win the fight, not the team. If you loose its your own fault, should of, could of, would of, still equals a loss. This is exposure, and if the fighter uses it right, its a good thing. Manfredo, Brinkly, & Gomez, were all the losers that took advantage of their situation. Ishi Smith, could of but didn't. (Id mention more but cant remember their names. That whole exposure thing.) But the show, shows that these fighters aren't machines, criminals, thugs, or most of the stereo typical beliefs of the casual fan has.
It is supposed to show that they don't just go fight. They have to train, stardigise, and get their head straight. On top of the fact they have families. This show is good for boxing, as a whole. I don't know the numbers, but I'm fairly confident that the weekly fight shows numbers have been up since.
sorry, it didnt show several responses untill after i posted.Quote:

well, the only reason you can like the guys last season more than this season is because you saw last season already...
why dont ya wait for this one to be over, then repost this thread.
Gary Balletto,
Vinroy barrett
Ebo Elder,

im not about to get into a pissen contest about what season was better, because in the END, you could be right, and last season, could end up being better, but ill wait for the END of THIS season to say so.
hell ye it could well be better i mean the people i would never expect to impress me last time were probs anthony and jesse and anthony screwed jesse knocked out the other guy and jesse knocked out anthony. guess i'll jus hav to wait n see, im lookin forward to it tho goner be swweet
As much as I love Andre Eason as fighter, how do you do from beating Delvin Rodriguez and having a SD with Demetirus Hopkins to getting beat pretty bad against Walter Wright. Either Wright is really good, or Eason hasn't taken a step foward since those fights.
He was a smaller man that didnt work the inside(from what we see..again, we see a 1/4 of the fight...He does have the heart of "a lion".... No doubt... He earned my respect. Wright was crisper. More acurate and in better shape. Looked like Eason had taken some time off... Balletto is my man so Im rooting for gold but Eason really tore @ my strings... seems like a cool cat. Go Balletto!!Quote:

He looked like he's been boxing for about two months. Then we get the sob story when Eason loses boo-ooo cue the dramatic music. THen all those "punch" sound effects they add...so lame. I was high as a kite and couldnt even enjoy it.
