Crawl before you walk into the lion's den Roy.
So Joe dominating Lacy means he could beat Roy Jones?
Seriously you Roy quitters are unbeliavable...Youll kiss Lenox Lewis's a** but he got knocked out cold by a scub Rahman and a mediocre at best Mccall but you all proclaim him as the man and saying how great he was when he retired, But Roy gets up and dust himself off from adversity and he is a scrub and you are not giving him a chance against a guy that has little KO power and had to move up in weight to face Jones(Calzaghe)Please you will all eat your words ..GURANFUKENTEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and you will all be kissing his a** again...Stay loyal to your fighters...Dont be a follower pick a fighter and see it thru....
Lewis beat those that beat him....That is why Lewis is a true Champ.....RJJ has lost consistently in rematches against Tarver..and we know how good Tarver is...so yes RJJ is done...let him go....he was great.....by the way Lewis never lost 3 fights in a row.....or 2 for that matter.....
Shane Mosley lost consecutively to Vernon Forrest and just because he lost is Forrest by no means the better fighter ::**

Calzaghe fought 40 other fighters & dominated them too...that's a little thing I like to factor in...outside of the Lacy win that would give him a chance against Jones...that & the fact that he's never been knocked out.
Heres another little thing to be factored in Jones was knocked unconcious by two guys that are not in Calzaghes league.
Calzaghe would of been a tough fight for Jones at his best let alone now he is way way done.
;D Joe Calzaghe may be able to beat Antonio Tarver, but Johnson would beat his ass IMO. And no it would not have been a tuff fight for Jones in his prime, it woulda been a white wash, with Jones winnin every round or stoppin Calzaghe. James Toney was twice the fighter at SMW that Joe Calzaghe is.
Re: Is RJJ done or who will be fight next
Calzaghe would beat neither Tarver and already ducked Glen Johnson 4 years ago

Well, the American hype-machine is rolling again - we all remember: "Toney will clean out the HW division within 18 months" and "Lacy KO3 over Calzaghe".......
The truth is that both B-Hop and RJJ fought handpicked opponents their entire career and avoided Calzaghe like the plague.

What did they do at SMW that allows them to be rated so superior to Calzaghe?

:coolclick: Agreed.
Re: Is RJJ done or who will be fight next
Jones was very explicit in an interview yesterday on boxingtalk that Glenn Johnson II is the fight he wants most. Which I think might just be the worst fight for him. If anyone thinks Calzaghe's work rate would be a problem, Glenn's will certainly be more of a problem. Roy's obviously the most gifted fighter out of all these guys, but I don't think he probably has it in him anymore to bulldog it out with Johnson for 12 rounds. And I don't see him knocking Glenn out at this stage.
I'd still rather see that Johnson/Calzaghe fight that was supposed to happen before Joe got injured again. And I'd pick Johnson to win.
Re: Is RJJ done or who will be fight next
id have calzaghe over a past it jones [primejones at supermiddle would of been a hell of a fight] calzaghe wud wipe the floor with tarver as his right hand wouldnt even come close to joe, and johnson wouldnt touch calzaghe as i think he is gonna loose a close 1 woth clinton woods as he seems to be like a vintage wine, he jus gets better with age. i predict a woods win, who knows who calzaghe will fight next, im guessing kessler [butr whoever] hes in his prime and will win, then hel finally fight woods as he will have more credibillaty, and retire. sorry if thisdosent make sense im rushing as i have a big BIG roast dinner with my name on it getting cold

Why, would Calzaghe not beat Tarver??...you make one sentence statements that hold no relevance to the likes of me!

Indeed, I do just that, he is my favorite fighter....Joe will silence these hypocrites who have crawled out since the Lacy fight. They are more vocal since he has been inactive....they will be silenced....
