You talk this all nosense of how Woods has gotten so much better. Why? Cuz he has the IBF title? It's a garbage title. Everybody knows it. Only fools like you consider Woods a champion. And lets see if you keep your word and come back when Woods loses easily again.
By that rational if Roy Jones were to fight Bernard Hopkins at this point in time he would win comfortably on points yes?
No of course not, alot has changed in the last few years. Over twenty four rounds Johnson proved the better man, clearly in fight two. Even if Johnson maintains his level of performance it isnt stretching the boundries of possibility to suggest that Woods improvement makes this an even money fight, is it?
By the way Woods is a proper champion, he has fought his eliminators and won it fair and square and now looks to defend it against the toughest on offer, cant ask for more than that.
The time frame between Jones-Hopkins and Woods-Johnson fights is to far apart to compare. And the IBF was stripped from Johnson cuz he decided to fight Antonio Tarver. At the time the best Light Heavyweight out there. I don't care how many eliminators Woods fought (he fought Jason DeLisle for christ's sake) he's still a paper champion.

Right, because nothing changes in three years ::**
Please tell me for future reference how long has to pass between fights for it to be of any significance.

I don't know. I think that Woods pulled a Corrales and waited for Johnson to be on the slide just like Corrales just did with Casamayor.
Yeah you're probably right cause Corrales took it real easy fighting bums like Freitas and Castillo whilst waiting for Casamayor to deteriorate ::**
No matter what happened before and whoever wins this third fight Woods and Johnson are two of the premier Light Heavyweights in the world and its a good fight to make.
I expect the fight to be very close possibly a split decision which of course means if Woods gets it it'll be on account of corrupt judges, dodgy shitty reffing, ROBBERY, ROBBERY, ROBBERY in the eyes of the "fans."
Re: Woods V Johnson predictions (merged)
i think johnson is going to beat him he has looked the better in the last few fights and he would have the more confidence going in after beating tarver once and jones jr
i would like woods to win tho
so calzaghe can step up and beat him
Re: Woods V Johnson predictions (merged)

I was talking about Hopkins-Jones. If they fight it would be what over a decade since there first fight. How you going to compare that to Johnson-Woods? Sc for not knowing.
Re: Woods V Johnson predictions (merged)
Now you've hurt my feelings ;D
You talk like Johnson and Woods fought last week. Of course Jones and Hopkins fought along time ago, its called an example, an exaggerated one at that.
Have a cool click, they are clearly of some significance to you ;D

Jones-Hopkins was beyond exaggeration. Johnson-Woods was 3 years ago, but has Johnson shown any sighs of decline in those 3 years?

Memphis himself couldn't comprehend what he was getting at. Comparing Jones-Hopkins and Johnson-Woods makes no sense. Only a fool like you would actually agree with it. Take your sc for kissing a mod's ass.
Re: Woods V Johnson predictions (merged)
Read my first post. Woods has alot more to offer this time around, Johnson doesnt. If there was a gap in fights one and two (clearly more evident in fight two) then Clinton has closed it IMO. Even money fight.
Alot can, and has changed in three years, thats not too difficult to comprehend, is it?
