You are 100% right. Toney wins by descision. (Peter wins 1 in 10 bc of lucky punch.)

Actually its good if Toney wins this one.

a) It saves Peter from getting in with WK or Lyakovich before he is ready.
He would have to get back to basics and improve skills. Call Teddy Atlas.

b) Toneys next fight will be against a white man with no skills put in the position of champion because of racism alon (in JFATs mind).

Looks like Toney's shaping up. I think he really means to KO Peters. I'm believing him and hoping he does.

Not because I like Toney. Don't even a little bit. I just want to see Toney rise to his level.

Sure peters can ko people if he can hit them but that's not a very respectable world champ style.

Here's the thing that I generally stick to...& it almost ALWAYS pans out for me in the end...when you got a true boxer fighting a puncher...the boxer almost ALWAYS wins.

Toney is a true boxer...no if's, and's, or but's about it.

Peter is nothing more than a hard hitting rough cut puncher. He's to unrefined to beat someone like Toney...as much as I hate to say that, because I like Sam Peter & I really REALLY don't like Toney...but facts are facts & I just don't see Toney getting sparked out by the likes of Peter...even though the kid can crack like a mule.

I hope he proves me wrong...but I don't see that happening.

I too see a lopsided Decision for the man you call JFAT. I don't see him bein all that fat for this one honestly. 225 is probably what he'll come in at. Which IMO is still at least 10 lbs to heavy. Peter is a beast though and if he catches Toney on the chin by some miracle, he will seriously hurt James, if not KO. But that probably ain't gonna happen. Anyway I'm glad, Wacko that you aknowledge that Toney is much much more skilled than anyone Peter has ever faced, which includes yours and Lyle's MIGHTY ADONIS, HERO, WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO!!!!

He doesn't really "block" so much as he rolls with the punches and they just graze him...put me in with Sam Peter and I'll block his punches you can see them coming YESTERDAY!

I got question I was wondering aproximatley what time is the Toney and Peter fight going to start. I know at 10 pm eastern time it airs on Showtime but isn't there a fight before that one as well.

First off Eric Aiken vs Robert Guerrero has to happen...I'd guess-timate that the Toney vs Peter fight will happen around 11:00 to 11:30.

I wonder what the weights will be...if Toney comes in over 230 he'll still win but there will be very interesting and trying points in the fight for him.

It's not that Sam Peter is not strong enough to KO Toney it's that he doesn't punch accurately enough and he doesn't throw combinations, and he doesn't have enough stamina to pressure James...I can see the middle rounds being Sam leaning on James pressing up against the ropes...speaking of which I hope those ropes are reinforced with something

i think the fights in nevada, so as longt as my man john stewart is one of the judges i wount bitch..

unless there are two other judges who have ludacris scores and fuck up the decision...


well know who is gonna win after the first punch toney blocks, if his own arm is punched into him i PROMISE you that toney will eventually get KTFO... BUT... if toney manages to keep his arms where they are he it will signify that toney will be victorious

I couldn't agre with you more on wanting Peter by KO...I just don't think that it'll happen.

i was just watching Peter. Now I know what a problem for his greatnes is: and why he is not a new Tyson: he is too heavy. About 20 pounds. So he lacks that speed and mobility. Look at Tyson when he went for all power and high weight he lost his great mobility.
