I think Floyd would just give him a beating. Prince always has the puncher's chance, but I think Floyd would exploit his shotty defense and balance with his handspeed.

Floyd would have toyed with Naz at 130. It would have been a blowout.
In fact, Larry Merchant said it best in the ring after Floyd demolished Corrales...
Larry asked Floyd who he wanted to fight next, and Floyd said a few names, and he also said he'd like to fight Naz. Merchant laughed and said, "Floyd, that will never happen. After seeing what you did to Corrales tonight, Hamed doesn't want any part of you."
And he was right.
you make an excellent point there.. Naz left himself shit after throwing shots. chin in the air, hands down..a counter punchers dream. I think you changed my mind. cc #43Quote:

mmm....Hamed's only fight against an elite fighter was Barrera and he got his ass handed to him. Mayweather would have not broken a sweat beating him.Quote:

I'd pick Floyd too but if we're talking prime Naz it'd be close.
I get the impression that alot of people are basing what they know of Naz on the Barrera fight or at least fights towards the end of his career. He was ruined by then and a very poor version of the Naz 4/5 years earlier. Saying he was easy to hit is a prime example of this. A prime Naz has better reflexes than anyone Mayweather has fought.
Common sense says Floyd easy,
But you gotta admit there is always the chance of an upset with Nas around, his power was p4p legendary
While I think Floyd would have won because Naz doesn't know how to defend, I think you're underestimating how fast Naz was and how hard he could punch. I've heard people say he was overrated, which was bullshit because he was never knocked out. He had one bad day against Barrera and that was it.Quote:
