Cotto beats PBF at 147

Cotto will beat the man that PBF fears too. Margarito.
Thee End.

He said "If I retire today I would go down as the best"
Kenny asked him if he was sure about that (or something to that effect)
Then Floyd said "I can't take anything away from Ali or Robinson, but I didn't fight in their era. I'm fighting in my own era. Of course I think i'm the best. If you're a boxer and you DON'T think you're the best, get out of the sport right now."
Very true, its when you find out who just listens to heresay and who actually watches the interviews

Who owes anyone an apology ::**? I saw the interview as well and the first two posters relayed it acurately. And I also find it hilarious you can try to correct someone's accuracy while at the same time stating, "Kenny asked him if he was sure about that (or something to that effect)." ;D ;D

I honestly don't know exactly how Kenny said it, but he did question him on it and Floyd clarified what he meant. The thing about the eras and how all boxers should consider themselves the best was 100% what Floyd said.

You hit it right on the nail! CC Lyle, you know he's working with his special Solar Plexus punch. Pulled it off against Mitchell, did not see that much against Zab though. Maybe a little more refinement and that would be his specialty punch. I mean a perfect blow to the solar plexus can produce serious damage.
just out of interest..wats a solar plexus punch?

He is talking about a BodyShot.....Floyd digs that straight right under Ribcage....Floyd is an excellent bodypuncher and is very underrated in that department...

are you seriously putting margaritos name up there with those other great fighters? (at least baldomir is champ)
wow!
arums got you ALL caught up in the hype
i dont think its necessary for pbf to beat margarito to be considered an all time great
or is daniel santos an all time great for beating a "prime" margarito like 5 fights ago?
Margarito has just as much of a belt as Baldomir...I'm just saying fans want to see them fight if he dominates Margarito it can only HELP his shot at being great.
Just because fans want to see them fight don't fuckin patronize me...the more people that Floyd fights that are considered either by fans or average people to be good enough of deserving a fight with Floyd then the better for Floyd's place in history.
Honestly I think Paul Williams will be the end of Margarito and possibly Floyd too
