when you have a few posts under your belt and stop taken a run at people...you'll get taken seriously instead of the daily flash in a pan trouble makers who log on here and are gone by tomorrow

Your a damn fool then. Your only showing us that you aren't even a sports fan, let alone knowing anything about boxing... Think about the nature of the sport, imagine what Toney has been through in the ring over so many years.. If he wan'ts to run his mouth, FINE, he's a great fighter who is a joy to watch.. Michael Jordan is supposedly quite a prick in real life, not that anyone should know or give a rat's ass he was a basketball player, and an amazing athlete.. Do you know anything about Sam Peter out of the ring?? OR in it for that matter?? What makes Toney's fans so demented, the fact that they don't attach an athletes personality with his ability in the sport?? Did Toney turn you down for a long walk along the beach or something?!?

LOL maybe james ate the last Chicken wing at the buffet they both attended.....I have met James a couple times at fights and a charity function...Never had a long conversation with him or anything just a quick " How are you doin champ"...He was always cordial....He is actually a funny guy who can be a real gentelman...Outside of the confrences and pre fight hype he is a decent fellow believe it or not

And Wlad's win over Peter was just amazing huh... I don't think Toney would have any chance vs Wlad either, he simply wouldn't, but for christs sake he did BETTEr against Peter then Wlad did imo, he stood right there and fought him for 12 rounds and never went down... Considering that he started his career 100 pounds lighter than Wlad or Peter, it was a hell of a show.

Why is James getting blamed for the almost melee? Toney was pumping his fist to the crowd and showed great sportsmanship after the fight but then Peter's manager taunted Toney and said something to him, I dont know what he said but either way it was enough to make Toney GO OFF!!! So I don't blame Toney I blame Peter's manager

Toney's trash talk = Hype

Even Peter acknowledged this.

And Toney only started talking trash because Peter's promoters started it, Toney said it in response to them.

And like I said,

I've heard worse in the sport of boxing. 

But why are you overstating and underestimating circumstances? 

I'm not here to get into a 'race' issue with you. 

Sure it can be conceived as a 'racist' statement doesn't mean Toney is a 'racist'

Just as Peters comment about beating Toney so bad he'll be his second wife can be considered a 'wife beating' statement doesn't make Peter a 'wife beater'

And everybody has racist tendancies or bias toward one race or another and misconceptions about one or another race to preference even if they don't acknowledge it.

And Toney isn't the exception.

I'm not excusing Toney, but I'm saying don't "overstate" what he said a mountain out of a molehill.

Hell Vargas could be considered "racist" for all the things he said.

He said Oscar wasn't "mexican" enough..

Which is a slur against Mexicans like saying that they are all supposed to be streetwises and people that don't get the rich jobs and make enough money for themselves and are exclusive to the streets..

And that slur against mexicans is a hell of a lot more offensive then anything Toney said.

So don't overstate
