Hobson has just apologised to the crowd for not putting on a better fight. I don't think Hobson's going to fight in a charity event again, they were very quiet, far too many celebs in there, and not too many passionate fans. Hobson has a great cadre of fans, who are very vocal in his fights, and he sure did miss them this time out.
Next up Curtis Woodhouse, former footballer who quit football to pretend to be a boxer. It's a 4 x 2min round fight, but I'm looking forward to this one, might be a comparison between soccerplayers and boxers.
yeah me too... i think hes mad for taking up boxing as he was worth a million as afootball player ???Quote:

not a football fan so does woodhouse always look that gaunt :-\
Okay. In comes the opposition. The name seems hardly relevant, he's really little more than a punchbag for Woodhouse...let's be honets. Dean Mark Antonio. Looks a little imtimadated.
Woodhouse coming in looking focussed, ignoring the crowd though. He's looking quite ripped. The comentators say he lost two stones to become a Welterweight (that's 28 lbs to the americans ;))
Like a underdog going into his race. Antonio's got a sweat on :p
not too impressed if im honest... not much power and dont rate his chin. :-\
good fight though ;)
Antonio doing a bit of attacking, Woodhouse getting the better of the early stages. Nice straight left. He's switching stance, but his left is looking especially good for Woodhouse.
Woodhouse 1-0
Strong start from Antonio. Both showing some attacking. Good combo's from Woodhouse. He does have a good left on him, Antonio swinging much, not connecting as much. Woodhouse marking up. Decent right straight from Antonio connecting.
Antonio probably edged that one. I'll give it as 1-1.
:coolclick: for the RBR...but who the fwock are these people? ;D
the only name you need to remember is Mitchell mate hes the only future star on the bill and hes next ;)Quote:

Woodhouse takes it, it's his to lose now. 2-1 Woodhouse.
Final round. Nice left off the back foot. Antonio catches Woodhouse with a decent left. Massive left floors antonio. Woodhouse's first touch of class. 3 good lefts, third hook knocks antonio on his arse. less than a minute to go. Antonio desperate to finish now. Hanging on deperately. Looks to have weatherd the storm. Good right is the last punch. Seems to slip on sweat at the final bell. Nice start to a career. Looked good against Antonio, reasonable left hand. Wait and see on what comes his way before passing proper judgement.
LOL!!! This is the wonder of British boxing mate.....because there is a much smaller pool of fighters, even the lesser guys can get on the box!Quote:
