Hatton: Still on the Rise or on the Decline?

I would say his career is in need of a boost. And its true that a move back down to 140 might not provide that instant spark of fame or revenue or what ever.... But the truth is, Hatton is a light welterweight and nothing more. This isnt a detraction from his stock or ability as a fighter. Im just underlining the fact that what Ricky Hatton does in the ring, works best at 140.

So im assuming that longevity is the agenda for hatton and is the reason he backed away from the real Welters.

In all honesty im not overlly excited about Hattons decision but i understand and fully agree with it.
