....very true, but it's also nice if that "easy way" is entertaining
It can be.Quote:

But it won't be present. 10 years from now when nobody else comes close to him we'll see how much he is missed and how brilliant he is. imo its up to the opponent to make him fight a different fight. They haven't so it's their fault not his :)
What'sup Lyle :) Sounds like you want to kill me now that I said Vitaly is a Steroid Head.Quote:

You can think that if you want to Gyrokai
Majesty, it just seems that Floyd doesn't put the effort into his way of fighting just in my opinion....Willie Pep feinted and moved and did everything Floyd did but with more effort....like he worked for his money and the way I see Floyd, sometimes he does really good, works really hard and is impressive but sometimes he just seems like I'll do as little as possible to get by.
Not 100% the truth just the way I take it sometimes...sometimes I think Floyd is awesome other times I see him as boxings version of Terrell Owens
Oscar CAN win because he's fought fast guys and defensive guys before, he can move decently, he has a good chin, good stamina, and awesome power.
Your right about the Terrel Owneds comparison... Only Floyd doesn't have any teammates or coaches to let down so his attitude only serves him for the better. I don't really understand how you can admit that boxing is about finding the easiest way to win, and then rag on Floyd because it doesn't look like hes putting as much effort into doing so? Isn't that the whole point, expending as little energy as possible and using his skills? Toney, Whittaker, Hopkins all fought somewhat the same way.. With Toney and Hopkins it still made for entertaining fights because they didn't have the footspeed that Mayweather does, they would still have to trade punches and have a high output to school their opponent.. I think Whittaker is really the most similar to Mayweather in this regard... And he got loads of criticism for not being exciting in his day..Quote:

p4p it does seem a little contradictory HOWEVER....the GREAT fighters push themselves when they know they can do better....Floyd coasts....it's the same shit RJJ caught in his prime too.
Like I said a combination here and there wouldn't hurt....it's not like he had to sit down on those punches and break his hands and try to KO Baldomir.....what he did vs Gatti is what I expect him to bring to every fight...a willingness to PROVE himself, a willingness to SHOW THE CROWD, SHOW THE FANS AT HOME that he is capable of great things.
....does that sound a little better???
I think Floyd looking like he's not putting as much effort into something that hed need to put a lot of effort into shows how great he isQuote:

See how that could turn SOME people off?
yeah, but it doesn't take away from his greatness or accomplishments(like the HBO crew tried to make it seem)Quote:
