I'm with Smash here.
Only way Kessler beats Calzaghe is if Joe is starting to get drained at the weight. I don't really see him as having much more class than Froch, just a different style... Froch has the chin and pop to beat Kessler from what I have seen... especially if he KEEPS HIS HANDS UP!!! ;)

If Froch was top drawer he would have hammered Magee in good style. A shot Robin Reid beat Magee throwing about 3 punches per round as well as a few tantrums.
Carls got the tools to give anyone a good arguement. But Kessler would one two him to a lopsided decision IMO.

I'm with you on this Adam. Never thought I'd say this about my former favourite fighter but he's proven that us Brits are well and truly gutless.
I know the yanks on here often bash our fighters but to be honest you can understand why.

One more thing I should add is some credit should go to Manfredo for taking this fight.
He's proven by going on the Contender, then moving upto 168 and now leaving Rhode Island to go and fight the champ at 168 that he's got the heart and determination to be a champ.
He may not be in Calzaghe's leauge in terms of skill or speed but he's showing that he wants to fight the best and really test himself.
I didn't like his arrogant showing against Joey Spina but I'll be rooting for him when he fights Joe because unlike the man for Wales he's interested in actually making a name for himself and trying his best.
Joe is clearly interested in making easy money. Not that there is anything wrong with that but don't expect your fans to think your great if you dodge all the top fighters your entire career.
